Hey!
I would really like this suggestion that I'm about to give a deep thought and acknowledgment. It's a humble request.
Okay so I was think we should have a notifications bar for us in the dashboard section.
A bit like we have in Facebook etc.
I mean here we have a updates bar for both friends and ourselves but it's a bit boring because all we know is the statuses, signature changes etc updates and nothing much.
We should have a notification bar separately which updates us on who liked our thread/post, who replied to us, who quoted our post, who accepted our friend request, who became friends with who (for friend updates), who won a banner contest (or got a title to their name), who went up a ladder group or who got promoted etc and things like that.
I know that it will get REALLY crammed and packed with updates about replies to thread so for that I suggest we have a 'watch topic' button for topics we'd like to have updates for. Many other forums on the internet have this and it's a very advanced feature and I'm quite surprised IF doesn't. But why not have it now?!
So please please it's my request to all mods, admins etc to think about this and to the technical team to put this idea of mine in place.
It's a very useful suggestion and I feel many people will benefit from it. It will really make things easier.
Rather than searching through many pages in our topics lists to find a certain post destination or topic reply, it's better to get notified about it.
I know we have a email notification feature but it's very annoying when we get like 100+ emails just for one topic and it's not even a reply for our post. Plus who reads their emails so many times if it's so complicated. So yeah. I'd like this feature in place.
