So basically in BW on which basis movies earns more and are widely Successful 😊 I think Star-power because if it wasn't for Aamir a movie like Dhoom 3 wouldn't have broken all the records 😉 Same goes for SRk and Salman movies also even their crappy movies earns more than any critically acclaimed movie 😆 Plz vote and Comment 😳

big films work because of star power mainly followed by content

small films only works if there is some strong content

It's obviously star power alone. In the 90s it was about both star power and powerful scripts. Nowadays a crappy ass script will do wonders because of star cast alone.

I agree Big Stars do wonders for crappy movies ..Biggest example HNY, Dabbang and Dhoom 3 😊

Small films doesn't shine at box office in terms of collection no matter how much of a good script those movies have 😳 😆

Basically the script (even a good entertainer needs a good script).

But after stars get established then makers become complacent and rely more on star power only. For eg, DDLJ is good. RNBDJ is like trying to rely on existing brand value.

good content...and even the combo of good content and good release date...

All the superstars of the past and present have all established themselves with good movies early in their career...Rajesh Khanna,AB sr and the Khans...

only after they establish themselves their crap films work due to star power...
