However, she tries to keep herself unexposed to newspapers, and avoids reading what is written or said about her in the media.
At the launch of The Front Row' book, when Anupama Chopra asked Kangana Ranaut if she at least reads her own interviews if not newspapers, she replied: "No. Because I will be like, I didn't mean that. Now I am disturbed'."

She added: "I just keep to myself because there is no point; you just want to allow that much to happen on its own. I think it makes people controlling. It is like, I want to know what people are thinking about me; I want to control that.'"
Kangana Ranaut believes the best thing to do is let it be'. She said: "When you are in a place as insecure as an acting job, you tend to be so annoying and controlling. That is what I have learnt from my seniors: don't be like them, don't read your interviews, don't worship yourself. Just let it be."
