Aaliya: more than platonic feelings?

Hey did anyone else think that Aaliya seemed to exhibit something more than platonic feelings towards Ishaan during the brunch episode when Ishaan hugs her? It wasn't a sure shot sign but something more subtle and the way she looked at him afterwards for a second appeared that way. I think even though Aaliya will start to harbor romantic feelings for Ishaan, she will succeed in rekindling the flames between Ishaan and Malvika's relationship and then maybe Ishaan will realize/develop feelings for Aaliya's. That's just my theory. Although I wouldn't mind Malvika and Ishaan as a couple as they both have chemistry, I think a male version of Aaliya would do her better to loosen her up and balance her as that would be much more fun to watch. Too bad Sarika's brother is too young/too young looking, otherwise his eccentricity would drive Malvika's bonkers.

Hey... I actually agree with u. I guess Aaliya has started developing feelings for Ishaan but has not realized it. So, Aaliya as a dutiful friend will reunite Malvika n Ishaan, n then by that time Ishaan would have started to feel something for Aaliya.

Honestly, I feel Malvika-Ishaan pairing will be quite boring coz both of them are just like each other. Malvika needs someone more chilled out.

Hey thanks for replying! Yeah I was thinking maybe Malvika and KD could be a potential pair and they would look good together but KD too seems uptight and serious and not fun and chilled out. They could have clashes on ideologies though since KD cares more about profit than the patients.

IMO, Aliya and Ishaan both have this latent attraction towards each other. Ishaan's expression following the hug was pretty amusing too. Although consciously he treats her like a kid but there is this awareness somewhere. I think their gap in age and experience plays into Ishaan's mind a lot.

Yeah, your theory sounds entirely plausible, I would be happy if that happens because Malvika and Ishaan, while they have pretty good chemistry, can be too serious for each other. Malvika should be with someone who can push her a bit to be free. TBH, my question was more along the lines of, why would anyone dump Ishaan lol?

A very good point. Even I felt the same about Ishaan. I felt that he is still hanging on to it and that is why wants to underplay his attraction to Aliya. Also in third episode there was a mention by malvika friend that they broke up on a very dumb reason. Could not quite catch it though

Son you are bang on. I think Aliya is developing soft corner for Ishaan. Though she will deny it or underplay it and bring him and Malvika together. Maybe during that course Ishaan may also develop soft corner. But let us wait and see how story unfolds

@star_girl: I guess even the best of doctors - Dr. Malvika have a temporary lapse of judgement and hence she dumped Ishaan lol. We"ll probably get their backstory soon though I hope it's not silly like disupriya mentioned was said in an episode. I feel like it would be a letdown for two serious and mature individuals to break up over something silly.

I feel bad for Dr. Sinha though - Malvika brushed him off twice - dinner and coffee lol though I don't see anything romantic or anything

I agree with al of u here!!! Actually I even felt ishaan's mom liked aaliya so much!! She was lookin at her too lovingly as something else s going on in her mind like she feels she wud b a better pair for ishaan.. Jus a thought!! How many of u felt like me when she n aaliya wr conversing I mean I felt everytym when they wr speaking!!
