Anil Kapoor and the showman have been approached to judge Nach Baliye 3 alongside Vaibhavi Merchant and Ishaa Koppikar

If all goes well, Anil Kapoor is likely to join celebrity judges Ishaa Koppikar and Vaibhavi Merchant in Nach Baliye 3.

A contestant confides in us, saying, "Anil has been asked to judge Nach Baliye 3. Earlier, they had approached Subhash Ghai. So, it could be either of them. But as things stand, mostly it will be Anil."

Good choice

The source justifies the choice of the new judges, saying, "Vaibhavi is a fine choreographer, and in the past two years she has become quite popular. Ishaa is known for her dancing skills, her item number Khallas (Company) needs no introduction."

Considering Anil's inimitable bindaas dancing style earned him popularity at the early stage of his career, he is the perfect choice for judging a show like this.

The source adds, "It's fine to have a change in the judges, else there is a risk that at times the show tends to look jaded and stale."

Last year's jury member Kunal Kohli (who replaced Farhan Akhtar) could not be a part of the show, as he will start shooting for his film around the same time

Even Saroj Khan and Malaika Arora-Khan, who judged the first two seasons, are out.

Malaika wasn't keen on being part of Nach Baliye 3. Saroj Khan is busy scripting her film and conceptualising a dance-based reality show. Anil was unavailable for comment.

Hmm well they need a male to correct the female to male ratio. So Kapoor or Ghai, Ghai has more directing experience, hence an eye for the dance.

Oh i miss Farhan (Akhtar) 😭 😭 .
Why did not they approached him, this tiem around he is free just because once he could not do, due to being busy with don, doesn't mean he cant this time .

Please star one people call him, call farhan..
