That's so sad. I've spent my life in New Zealand, Australia and Fiji, and Easter is the one four day weekend that is absolutely sacrosanct in our part of the world. Good Friday and Easter Monday is THE mini break after Christmas that everyone hangs out for. Most shops are closed, papers don't publish. And most of us have never seen the inside of a church!!! I honestly didn't realise it wasn't the same in the US. SMH at my ignorance.


Same in the UK as well. Along with Christmas/ Boxing Day
