Ishita complimented the Kanakambaram adorning her jet black bun, as if telling Raman it was a splendid choice indeed... At that moment, IshRa had a teeny-weeny nokjhok jo mujhe theek se sunai nai diya...Raman toh apni aawaz apne pet mein hi daba deta hai... But when Raman turned to leave the room, Ishita curved back to grab his wrist...stopping him
"Kya baat hai...aaj Kanjak ke din badi naughty ho rahi ho?"😃
"Nai...Thank You..." Ishita was so overwhelmed by what Raman was doing for her...after a long, long time...YES...We were overwhelmed too!
"Jaa rahi hun Ruhi ke liye Halwa Puri banane"
"Yahan main jalwa dekh raha hun, aur tumhen Halwa ki padi hai" Its as if beti ki aane ke khushi mein Raman wapas apne one-liners bolne laga...😛
Ishita reminisces the Kanjak Puja conducted last year...with Roo wearing the shiny golden headbands and a red dress with golden work on it...Kanjak Puja toh baad mein hoti hai naa...then why do I feel the dress Ro's wearing and the saree Ishita has put on in the flashback scene is the same as the one worn in the beginning of the Navratri Puja...🤔 Both are wearing red...kahin aisa toh nai naa, ki CVs ne DONO flashbacks same dress mein, ek hi din shoot kiye😆
On the set, Ashok sees a gloomy Ruhi who's just come back after giving her shot...he's got her chicken cheese burger...apparently, when Ruhi had gone to his place with the vamp, he had treated her to the same thing
"Ashok uncle, kya aapko pata nahin ki Navratra chal rahe hain...hum non-veg nahin kha sakte"
"Aisa kuch nai hota beta"
"Nai uncle...main nahin khaungi..aap kha lo" and with that, she gets called for the next shot 😆 BEFITTING REPLY TO AN OVERSMART CHAMPU WHO STILL BEARS THE SCRATCH MARK ON HIS CHEEKS LIKE A CROSS ON HIS HEART...IDIOT
In the meanwhile, Raman comes on set, carrying the lunch Ishita has packed for Ruhi...he calls the spot boy and asks him to give it to her... Ashok mutters to himself, "Shagun was right...ki Raman aayega Ruhi ko lene...I am sorry Raman...but Kanjak ki Puja toh tumhen Ruhi ke bina hi manani padegi"
The joy and BLISS of Ruhi coming home for only a few hours was so palpable in the show today...in Bhalla House, in Iyer house... Sr. Bhalla and Simmi are busy getting the Puja samagri ready...while Ishita is in full swing, cooking Roo's fav despite being on the wheelchair...that was soo soo cute...Anyone could've done that, but SHE wants to prepare the prasad...so cute...I had tears in my eyes...
Toshi is running around too, asking Romi to get the other little girls by the time Roo comes home...
Amma comes dressed in her choicest red Kanjivaram (with a golden border) and a statement necklace, with payasam in an exquisite bowl... "Ruhi ke liye"
Toshi looks overwhelmed...they are both happy seeing the excitement and the fervent energy with which Ishita was preparing for Ruhi's arrival in Bhalla House... "Mata Rani kare Ruhi aa jaye..nai toh Ishita ka dil hi toot jana hai"
"Tension mat lo Santoshi...Raman ne kaha hai toh woh Ruhi ko leke zaroor aayega"
"Meri bahu kitni shmart hai" Toshi says
"MERI beti hai" Amma gloats
"Yeh badi changi baat hai...chitt bhi teri, aur patt bhi teri...chal ek kaam karte hain..tu apne Daamad ko show off kar, te main apni Bahu ko show off karungi"
Very cute..and warm...I have always loved the Samdhins interacting at their liveliest best...and even at their ferocious worst..even the saddest jokes written for them sounds SO MUCH FUN!😆 But ek baat hai, when Toshi was talking to Amma and the camera had panned up close on her face...I realized Toshi's makeup looked patchy and layered...like you could SEE it was makeup...it was so blotchy it made her look like an elderly ghost with the red lipstick on🤣 Later, THANKFULLY, when they showed her in scenes where the lighting was decent, it didnt look too bad...In contrast, Amma's makeup and even Simmi and Rinki's makeup was done seamlessly..so flawless...Madhavi looked VERY PRETTY...Have always found her graceful and elegant...
Aaj show mein hi Toshi ne Mata Rani ko teen baar yaad kar liye...kisi din Pak jayegi Mata Rani aur hibernation mode mein chali jayengi😆
Wahan Raman informs Ruhi that Muttu is back...she is very excited to know that... "Pata hai...Muttu ne ab tak kuch khaya hi nai hai..."
"Papa...main Muttu se milna chahti hun"
"Par Muttu toh ghar pe hai par Ruhi toh sabse naaraz hai...ghar nai aayegi..."
Ruhi keeps mum "Koi baat nai...main Muttu ko samjha dunga..ki Ruhi nahin aa sakti"
He set the plan in motion...awaiting the results...
Saw Pammi after AGES...AND SHE TOO LOOKED SOO CUTE AND CHUBBY!! I really love how vivacious she is! She has come with a few friends ...common friends, I guess...coz of them lives in America...and knows Toshi... Just when the festive mood starts taking on everybody, Mihir appears out the door, clutching Mihika's arm..."Tu chal naa Puja mei baith" he insists...Rinki sees this and is displeased...feeling INSECURE, wud be the right word...
I admit...Mihir is taking his 'care' for Mihika a bit too far...and its a puja, shudnt he be around his WIFE? 😡
The lady who has come with Pammi, comments that Mihir and Mihika look good together...A dramatic moment explodes silently...as Toshi, Amma, Mihir, Mihika, Rinki and Ishita...and Simmi...all begin looking here and there and at each other...
Rinki looks like she's gonna burst out crying any moment...Ishu holds her hand to console her...Mihir looks embarrassed (OH HECK, HE SHOULD!) and THANKFULLY, Mihika had the grace to remove Mihir's hand from her arm... Toshi forcefully interjects, "Ooh nai nai...Mihir ki shaadi hamari Rinki se hui hai...isi liye kehti hi..ki na jaa Amrica...yahan toh kitna kuch ho gaya aur tujhe pata nahin...wahan andon pe baithi rehti hai" (I dont understand why Toshi wud comment on her friend, insinuating she keeps sitting on eggs back in America, but then it saved the moment)
After her shot, Ruhi comes to Shagun and asks if she can go home, saying Muttu is back and he might be missing her a lot... I so expected her to make a nasty face and refuse...but she smilingly obliged...
Just when Ruhi ran into Raman's arms, ready to leave the set...Ashok motioned an assistant sitting behind him to go calL Roo for the shot (which BTW was to happen 3 hours later)
Ashok and Shagun smirk as Ruhi rushes back to give her shot... Raman looks very dejected...Poor guy...itni planning karke fail hona obviously kharab lagta hai😔
"Im not stupid..situation ke hisab se act karna chahiye" Shagun tells Ashok, when he suggests she shud take up acting (WOH ACTING HI KAR LE...CHUDAIL...BETI SE KYUN KAAM KARWA RAHI HAI😡)
I am APPALLED...There has to be a MUSEUM established for cheap, undignified and absolutely crass women like Shagun...self-respect- ZILCH...Shame? None...The man she lived with for 6 YEARS DUMPED HER and she STILL had the gall to hatch ''plans' with him...she doesnt deserve the kacchra where she came from😡
"Main apne bete..apni beti bhi Ishita ko gift nai karna chahti" Raman overhears this conversation...as he is mulling how to get Roo home, a man on the set goes out to start the generator...Raman thinks of something instant and smiles to himself...
In Bhalla House everybody is waiting for Ruhi...all the other girls have come and Pammi said time is rushing by...it might get late... In the meanwhile, Ishita calls Raman and asks about Ruhi.. He lies about getting Roo home..and that they are just about to leave the set...
Bahar jaake Raman usi aadmi ko pakadta hai jo shayad generator wagairah ke charge mein tha.. they both bow their heads and Raman tells the man he too has kept the fast along with his wife...
"Ab dekho naa...meri beti aaj ghar aane wali thi Puja mein...meri biwi uska intezaar kar rahi hai...par kaise hoga" and then tells the man he will be able to take his daughter home for the Puja if HE agrees to help...he tries to offer money, but the man refuses to take the same
On the set, Ruhi is standing with the actress posing for the stupid Little Care ad...and just befre they're about to say their lines, power goes off...
Ashok starts calling everybody in the production and see what the problem is...the same man who agreed to help Raman came running and informed that there was some prob with the generator and it wud take atleast 2-3 hours before it gets fixed..
Raman thanks the guy...silently hi-fives Ruhi and prepares to take her home... ALL THESE DAYS I kept complaining Raman wasnt doing anything concrete for his daughter...and am SO glad he is AS desperate as his wife, to see Ruhi and get her home to interact with her Ishima...Hats off Raman...the love and anguish you expressed today was SPOT-ON👏
In Bhalla house, time is ticking and Amma and Toshi try and convince Ishita to start the puja.
"Nai Amma...main Ruhi ke bina yeh pooja shuru nahin karngi...uske bina iss puja mein mera mann hi nai lagega" I WAS SO TOUCHED SEEING ISHITA WAITING ON RUHI LIKE HER LIFE DEPENDED ON HER...She looked so dejected, when it seemed Raman wont be able to fulfill his promise, after all😭
And then, when Shravu screamed, "RUHI" she turned towards the door...and felt like she got her Mannat...seeing Ruhi walking in hand-in-hand through the door...Toshi, Amma and all the others shower their love on her profusely...Ishita looks at her like one would at a beloved, returning from a far-off place after years...with tenderness, warmth, anticipation and love in her eyes...its like her Universe JUST felt COMPLETE at that moment
"Main toh darr hi gayi thi" Ishita murmurs, to Raman
"Kya baat hai...jo sabko darati hai...woh khud darr gai"
Raman reminds her she has just 2-3 hours, so they'l have to rush the puja rituals...
Ruhi doesnt return Ishita's smiles, but asks for Muttu..Ishita calls for Muttu, who comes wagging his tail...and clung to Rooo...they both exchange some long-lost love
And then comes the horrific part - She sends the dress thru Raman...and Rinki tells Ruhi she'll have to change.. Ruhi instantly recognizes the dress
"Yeh mere liye hai'
The Bhallas affirm the same "Ishita ne khud aapke liye yeh dress pasand ki hai"
Raman tries to goad Ruhi to tell the diff between tomato red and chilli red... Ruhi curtly replies, "Mujhe nai pata"
And then, when Rinki urged her to change into the red kurti...Ru refused..."Nai...mujhe change nai karna...mujhe Ishima ki dress nahin pehenni"
ALL present there looked sad...miserable...this wasnt smething they had expected...NEITHER HAD WE😭 Ishita started tearing up...
PRECAP -Raman pulls Roo towards him "Aap Ishima se naaraz ho?"
Very simply, his daughter answers "Haan"
tries to make her understand... "Aap muttu se milne itne din baad aaye ho...par kya Muttu aapse naaraz hai?" he asks her, gently
"Nai..main Muttu se pyaar karti hun...aur miss bhi karti hun..aur good boys Mamma se naaraz nai hote"
"Toh Ishima bhi toh aapse bahut pyaar karti hai...aapse baat karne, aapse milne jaati hain, aapko miss karti hain"
"maine Muttu ko nahin chhoda...par Ishima ne mujhe chhod diya...WOH ACCHI NAHIN HAI"
By now Ishita looks devastated...
I have NEVER, EVER been angry with Roo...but at the risk of being bashed I will say, her reaction today PISSED me off...Partly because Raman is the one this mess was created by and she has NO PROBS with Raman and the others but treats Ishita like an outsider, a stranger... Why this anger? Ab tak? Especially, after Ishita went to the trouble of shopping for HER fav clothes in a WHEELCHAIR...cooking for her...waiting on her like mad...Yes, she is a kid ...she doesnt know the lengths her Ishima has gone to, for HER...But kya yeh pyaar sirf Ishita ki taraf se expect karna chahiye? Kya Ruhi ka pyaar itna kamzor hai ko ek saal mein Ishita ko samajh nai paayi aur aaj use misunderstand kar rahi hai...ISS HADD TAK... Koi toota hua paanv leke kisiko milne set pe kyun jaaega yaar, agar use uss insaan se lagaav/pyaar na ho? CVs, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with how ur turning Roo into a misguided, insensitive, spoilt brat who WANTS to deliberately misunderstand the one person who LOVES HER THE MOST IN THIS WORLD...Just for the sake of drama...Isse toh Adi behter hai... jo Shagun ki BAATEIN sun sunke Raman ko galat samajhta tha..Ruhi toh Shagun ki training ke bina hi itni naaraz hai...she ALREADY HATES Ishita so much!!
