🤪When Raman ushered in Ruhi's favorite, Muttu through the door, asking everyone to bulge their eyes out for the 'Big Surprise', I seriously thought probably Muttu ko Ruhi ke shooting set pe leke, placard pakadke, Ishita aur Bhallas use minnatein karenge ki, "Please Roo...ab toh Muttu bhi aa gaya...ab tum bhi ghar aa jao"
P.S. I LOVE THOSE ORANGE COLOURED FOWERS..And I love the name given to it...Kanakambaram...sounds like some one wrote a one-word poem...
Anyway, Bhallas are going crazy with joy..Toshi asks Raman to inform Ruhi of the same...apparently, Muttu's caretakers have gone abroad and so have left Muttu in their care...I guess even our canine friend misses Ruhi and right up walks to her picture...Ishita fondles him lovingly, saying they'll soon get her back...
Maybe its too soon for Mihir-Rinki relationship to bloom...but then all they talk about is "tu kuch kaam ke baare mein bol rahi thi" types...Rinki asks him if he could help her with some CA stuff...he says he's extremely tired and asks her to manage by herself today... and then swiftly, the conversation deflects to Mihika...apparently, Mihika agreed to come along... but then Rinki says she isnt sure she can come since she has class...he asks her to focus on her studies, he'll take Mihika to have chaat, and that they can go have chaat later...he falls off to sleep... Rinki looks displeased
Ishu inquires Amma about Mihika... "Woh theek hai...Morning walk pe gayi thi, Vishwa ke saath"
In the meanwhile, Mihika hands Ishita her coffee... "Akka, aap please stress mat lo"
Ishita said something lofty, which btw, didnt suit her much coz she's JUST SO PRETTY AND SOFT-FEATURED : Hum stress lenge nai, Ashok ko stress denge...hum strong hain Mihika aur tumhen har haal mein support karenge...tum hamare ankhon ke saamne ho, toh hum bahut secure hain" DT itni sundar hain, ki yeh jhatakedaar dialogues use zyada suit nai karte ..the ones that sound like threats or warnings or mean stuff falling in myriad categories...
Wahan Toshi aur Amma mein argument shuru ho jata hai... Muttu ko khilane ke chakkar mein...
Amma wants Muttu to have sambar rice... Toshi very intelligently quips, "Yeh kutta Madrasi nai hai"
"Yeh Muttu Swami hai...hamare saath rehta tha"
And Toshi thought probably naming him something Non-Madrassi will change his diet preferences too...FAT CHANCE...Amma firmly said he will remain vegetarian and the bickering continues...After LONG..I saw the samdhins fighting...not one of their power-packed rows...but DEFINITELY WAY BETTER than all the sobbing and crying inflicted on us since the past few months
Anyway, Raman and Iishita inform Toshi they're leaving to get some shopping done..for Ruhi...since Raman plans to abide by his promise... Raman offers to take Ishita...
"Aap le jaoge? Aap mein toh patience hi nai hai"
Anyway, she's happy that her Ravan Kumar has transformed into a weirder and cuter version of himself, much better and more amazing than a sambar eating Muttu😆
In dono ko khush dekhke Toshi ji khushi ke ansuon mein aankhen sekne lagi😆 ...Am sure mann hi mann, Mata Rani ko PHIRSE yaad kiya hoga Toshi ne
Rinki's been bit deep by the insecurity bug...and today she's dressed up in a saree... (prolly trying to be like Mihika or better than her and secure some more MORE of Mihir's attention)...
"Kya baat hai...koi cultural fest hai kya?"
"Nai..bas maine socha main bhi try kar lun...aur Mihika bhi toh aise kapde pehenti hai " she replies, sheepish...
Mihir tries to get her to change her mind, and though he is awed by her transformation...he is apprehensive she might get ragged in college and acts protective of her... Rinki is in two minds about the saree, by the end of the convo
On the way, IshRa are discussing what to buy for Ruhi... "Mega sale laga hai...Dilli ki saari ladies wahan hogi...aap ek kaam karna...aap mujhe ek shop pe drop karke doosre mein dekh lena..aapko mil jaye to call karke bata dena"
"Treasure hunt hai kya?"
At the mall, Raman is appalled seeing a swelling crowd at the shops... "Mata ke darbar mein itni bheed nahin hoti jitni yahan hai"😆 Ishita chuckles at the fix she's landed her patidev in
Anyway, he tries to talk to the guard standing outside...saying his wife is on a wheelchair and she shud not get hurt... "Aap VIP ho?"
"Nai"
"Toh phir main entry kaise de sakta hun? Log nahin samjhenge" looking at Ishita in the wheelchair...
Raman is apprehensive now... I love it when KP looks puzzled, mind-numbed, appalled...it gives a certain character to his face😆 He offers to take Ishita to some other mall
"Nai...aap darr rahe ho?" Ishita's eyes are twinkling...
He says he is brave...and tries to get the woman standing in front of him to budge so that he could atleast enter the shop... "Aunty?"
"Aunty bulaoge toh kabhi nahin hatengi"😆
Raman takes her in with him...for some moral support...since he's do damn clueless about it... he gives him the picture of the dress and sends him off to go look for it, while staying back in a corner and looking for the dress there...
"Kaash meri paanv toota hota" Raman thinks out aloud😆
I didnt understand this bit...maybe my mind's not working or am seeing blurry...Mihir greets Mihika at the chaat stall... Anyway, Mihika asks about Rinki
"Woh extra class ke liye gayi hai" he informs her
He then asked her about Pathak and what he's doing to get the case moving... apparently, Pathak has told Mihika its gonna be a long and arduous journey...Mihir assures her they will all support her... "Tu sirf Golgappa pe focus kar" he teases her...Rinki comes over to the chaat stall and informs someone over the phone that she bunked class coz she had some work to wrap up...and instantly falls into a mini-depression, watching the glee and the carefree happiness with which MiMi had launched into a Golgappa competition...
She comes over, greets Mihir and Mihika...says her class got cancelled...She too tries to imitate Mihika and starts downing one golgappa after the other... Mihir wants her to have a 'limited' edition of Golgappa plate, since he thinks she cant handle it as she's not used to it
She continues, undeterred...as if it was a race to the finish and whoever had the most no. of golgappas got to have a bigger share of Mihir's love and affection...In minutes, she starts coughing...but continues to ask for more golgappas... Mihir hands her some water, saying she shudnt have had so much since she isnt used to it...and like nothing happened, continued with the Golgappa competition with Mihika...I have maintained this from the beginning itself...where friendship ends, love begins...no one can really tell..and here, Mihir is constantly spending so much time with his ex-gf who he never really got over...still considers her his bestest frnd and priority..I feel really bad for Rinki...Mihika wasnt dying or anything...she fell into a trap she knowingly placed her foot in...why cant she BACK OFF now?? I mean...doesnt she understand that Mihir is now MARRIED???😡
Raman ka yahan dress dhundte dhundte haalat kharab ho gayi hai...unknowingly, he tried peering in the ladies section... One of the Aunties standing there yelled at him "dikhta nai yeh ladies section hai"😆
Speechless and embarrassed, he mouths something mean to the lady and tries to scoot from the scene... "Aapko woh dress fit nai aayegi" who looks daggers at him
On the way he bumps into another woman, who yells irritated, "Dikhta nai kya?"
Bahut koshishon ke baad, he finds a red dress and excitedly walks up to Ishita...
"Nai...yeh wali nai hai"
He gets dejected.. "toh phir main aaya hi kyun?"
Ishita shows him the pic and its a tomato-red shade she's looking for... "Arrey red toh red hi hota hai..." he tries to justify
Finds another red dress, but that gets rejected by Ishita YET AGAIN
In the meantime, the security guard comes in and Ishita asks him if she could borrow his whistle for 10 minutes..he obliges...
"Pati ko guard bana diya" he mutters, taking the whistle along with him
After some more looking around, he finds the dress, and yanks it off from a man (who prolly wanted to buy a similar dress), showing him the pic... "Arey pagal hai kya?" the man asks, befuddled
Relieved that he FINALLY found the right shade, he looks for the whistle to send across his cue to Ishita... phir usne khud hi seeti maar li...ab bhare shopping store ke darbar mein ITNI saari auraton ke aas paas rehke seeti maarega toh kya hoga??😆
One of the ladies nearby, looked up...smelling something foul...like a hawk swooping on its prey
"Aapne seeti bajaya?"
"Haan toh ismein problem kya hai"
"Ek toh ladies ko dekhke seeti maarte ho..aur phir poochte ho problem kya hai?"
"Arey aunty..main apni wife ko dhoond raha hun"
"Kya kaha? Aunty? Ek to tumhari biwi hai, phir bhi tum doosron ko line maarti hun? Main abhi batati hun sabko...police ko bulati hun"
And by now all the other women have gathered to beat him up...for a 'crime' he DID NOT COMMIT😆 In fact, some one them even shoved him a bit...Poor Raman
Ishita got a whiff of the crowd suddenly swamping down on someone...and weaving her way thru it, she sees Raman standing in the centre...
Ishita asked the others what happened...
"Dekho kaisa aadmi hai...yahan ladies ko dekhke seeti baja raha hai...aur sabko chhed raha hai"
Raman looked flabbergasted😆 he must be thinking, "Apne poore hosho-hawas mein bhi aapko dekhke seeti toh nai bajaungi Aunty ji"😆
"Arey tumhi ne toh kaha seeti maarne ko" he looks at Ishita for support'
I SO EXPECTED Ishita to launch into a lecture and 'save' her patidev from these outraged women...bt she SHOCKED me with her sense of humour... "Actually...yeh aise hi hain...meri paanv toot gaya hai...mera khayaal rakhte rakhte frustrated ho gaye hain"🤣
FRUSTRATED...this word had me rolling on the floor...Yea ...OBVIO...Ishita...tum Raman ko KAB woh sukh dogi?😆
"Kitni acchi biwi hai dekho...phir bhi doosri ladkiyon ko chhedta hai" one of the woman praises Ishita...glaring at Raman, thinking how he ended up with such a bholi-bhali biwi
"Koi baat nai...aap inka chehra yaad rakh lijiye...agli baar maar lena" 🤣
Raman walks out of the shop..and all the woman file out on the sides, like tea leves filtered ...scared he will tease them on his way out...😃 "Kkya hai...ab mere chhedne ka intezaar kar rahe ho kya? Apna apna kaam karo yar," he said, irritated at the wary women around him
At the counter, he asked the guy "Yahan biwi exchange ho sakti hai kya?"😆
On their way back, Raman asks her why she did that... "Aapne bhi toh kiya tha..aisa...meri biwi kleptomaniac hai..kaha tha naa aapne?"😆 I loved how Ishita made a face, imitating her husband...woh chhedte huey badi soni lagti hai...😛I dont exactly remember WHEN Raman said this one-liner..but it was DAMN FUNNY...It was one of those days where YHM could bring a smile on my face at the mere mention of Raman Bhallla...haye...😆
Aur phir WOH hua jo maine iss sordid custody track mein EXPECT hi nahin kiya tha...She moved over to him...and KISSED him on the cheek..My GOD!! I WAS LIKE, YEH KYA HAI?😆 Raman ke toh dil mein violin piano baj rahe honge...but upar se aise dikha raha tha jaise uski biwi use band car mein chhed rahi hai, bina uske permission😆 Yeh dono har jhagde ke baad kuch zyada hi chipakne lagte hain...at this rate, socho unka C n C KAISA HOGA?
Next morning, Ishita's getting dressed for the puja...She;s wearing something red and lime green (I guess)..hair tied low in a bun...lovely, lovely she looked... DT IS SO PRETTY...And am so glad to be praising her ethereal beauty AFTER AGES!
She calls Neelu to help her with the mangalsutra...Raman comes in, with a bunch of orange flowers (I think they're called Kanakambaram) in his hand...she look happy, overjoyed, GLOWING...and slightly tilts her head t the other side, asking him to fix it in her bun himself... He helps her with the mangalsutra...and fixes the flowers tenderly..and gazes at the exquisite reflection of his wife in the mirror...aisa laga jaise aaaina bhi jalan mein toot jayega...
SUCH A SIMPLE, SWEET SCENE AND IT SENT MY HEART RACING...Imagine, this is the case EVEN WHEN Raman looks like Salman Khan lookalike..with that long-ish gelled hair on his face... This proves that when the script is right...IshRa set the screen on fire...DT-KP ARE MAGIC TOGETHER!! FAB PAIR...Just the damn hair outta ur face Raman and we'll love you back with the same devotion we did barely two months ago...☺️
PRECAP - Raman has got lunch packed for Ruhi...Ashok is on the set, observing everything and gloating to himself...Guess he knows about the Puja and wont let Ruhi go home...uske dimaag mein aur koi naya plan aa bhi kya sakta hai??
