Where a woman struggles with her irrespeonsible husband, finally he goes to asharam leaving her and his 2 daughters. When she manages to ike a living, he comes back understanding it is not lazy life in ashram and she refuses to accept him.

Film closes with he realizing he has to be a good husband and good father by taking up responsiblites and running away is not an option. It has won many awards and is kind of a cult classic in Malayalam cine world. It is actually a satire on woman's struggle when they end up with men who doesn't want to take accountability or responsibility.

One such movie called :Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu" is in Kannada as well where a father runs away leaving his wife and 4 kids. The first son becomes a lazy & drunkard and even married while the daughter had to take up a job to bear the burden of the family. She sacrifices her whole life for the family and one day when she was told that her father will return, she feels so happy that she tender her resignation to her job thinking her father will shoulder the responsibility and she can think of her life. But on reaching home, she finds out that he had returned like a swamiji and would like to be treated with respect and care as he is tired of the hardship of walking and all. The angry daughter throw him out despite her mother's resistance.

Malayalam original is a National award winning movie in the Social issue category. Don't know how CVs will take it. Whether they do some realistic portrayal or like many other tracks again butchering.

HJ track was from Payanam. It is a tamil movie?. I dint know that. Not watched it. But I guess the original will not be this butchered right.
