Tell me about it! Try sitting in a room full of 100 boys in an aerospace class; who think they have more intelligence than God probably. I cannot stand people like that.
The truth is we all have our own +'s and -'s. Saying "I am the best" doesnt' make it so. It just makes people arrogant and mean. I think everyone is intelligent in a different way. A comedian may have a different intelligence than a scientist but that doesn't mean that they are dumber. Beauty doesn't add to the "best-ism" either.
So, people who go out their telling themselves they are the best are just making fools out of themselves; nothing more. It's okay be confident but to be over-confident is silly!

no there are many factors that weight individuals differently. So do you think, no one can beat you or be superior? What can you do to ensure answer yes to the previous question.

Basically people who claim / portray to be best, do not factor different paradims of being the best, they are in the vaccum. Do we make the right call in calling oneself intellect or advising others on how things should be done right?

Instead of accepting I am the best , one has to expect the best out of self every time. I am sure Bill Gates doesn't expect anything but the best out of himself and others around him. When one says I am the best , they are accepting that they will not grow further and the world around them keeps getting better.

I disagree.... when someone says I am the best, the person has to live up to the expectations... and hence he does everything to be best on his work given, so he always grows....

while if u say i still can be better, u always have excuses for your failures.... once u have excuse not to be better, u lose the motivation for being best.... as always u will say u can do better...

Different way of looking at things, but generaly speaking, one tends to get complacent when one thinks they have no competition but themselves. I feel human behaviour is motivated more by what others say or do then otherwise. Most people I know thrive on outside competition. People who have excuses for failure will have them no matter what.
