Rohit Shetty is back with Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns to give some chills and thrills to the contestants and the viewers with more entertaining stunts. The first episode looks promising with interesting faces participating this season.Like last season, the shoot took place in the scenic beauty of Cape Town, South Africa. Host Rohit Shetty made a grand entry in a car hanging from a chopper. Rohit was well appreciated for hosting last season and this year too, it seems that he is on the right track, as he proves to be a perfect host for the season. Right from reprimanding a contestant for his or her misbehaviour, to cheering them up, or appreciating and helping a participant, Rohit does it all just so aptly.

Colors' reality shows usually have those celebrities who have been associated with them in the past. The list of contestants this season too follows the trend. The first contestant for KKK 6 is Archana Vijaya, who was last seen dancing in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5. Asha Negi of Pavitra Rishta fame (might do Colors next show ;)), Ashish Chaudhary, Chang (former Jhalak... participant), Hussain Kuwajerwala, Iqbal Khan, Rasahmi Desai of Uttaran fame, Riddhi Dogra, Sagarika Ghatge, Sana Khan of Bigg Boss fame, Siddharth Bharadwaj, Harshad Arora of Beintahaa fame, Rakesh Kumar will also be seen on the show.

What's new?


Coming to the format the season, the makers (Endemol India) have added an interesting aspect that will bring some spine-chilling incidents. And the aspect is the introduction of Darr Ka Ghar. Darr Ka Ghar is a place where all the contestants will stay throughout the season. The speciality of Darr Ka Ghar is that it is a place where the contestants can't stay peacefully. According to Rohit, Darr Ka Ghar has been introduced to double the 'fatting' level. That's sound interesting!

What works for the show?

The stunts which are introduced are hair-raising. Apart from all the creepy stunts, the makers, with the help of Rohit Shetty, have introduced newer stunts which are exciting to watch. And that is something that will gain good numbers for the channel. The very first stunt of the season 'Gayi bike paani mein' took away the cake and proved as the best stunt so far. The following stunts too were breathtaking and hooked the viewers to their seats. If this is what Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns is going to offer, then definitely the season is going to rock.

What might not work for the show?

Too many cooks spoil the broth. Though Rohit Shetty will not tolerate grouping or any kind of strategies on the show, there are chances it might happen. In the very first episode, Rohit has made it clear that if someone has to become a hero, they can prove it in the stunts, but not by raising voice or doing drama. Hope the season stays out of all this and gives more preference to stunts.

Too much Sana Khan on the show!

Two Bigg Boss contestants - Sana Khan and Siddharth Bharadwaj - are making sure to add masala to the show. Siddharth had his share of argument and tantrums in the first episode itself, however there was too much of Sana Khan. With Sana's behaviour, it does not look like she is prepared for the show. The first episode was totally focused on Sana. Hope this scenario changes with passing episodes. Last year, Gauahar Khan was all over the show and this time it seems Sana has taken over from her.All in all with newer tasks, interesting contestants and new aspects, Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns looks promising.
