Suspect: Neeraj Khanna

Motive: Extra marital affair of Saloni

Characters:

1.Mrs. Saloni Khanna: A very organized lady who was the victim.

2.Ms. Koyal Mehta: Saloni's sister. She had an affair with her sister's husband.

3.Mr.Neeraj Khanna: Saloni's husband. Worked in a firm Perfect Placements. He and Saloni had a love marriage.

4.Mr.Mehta: Saloni's father

5.Receptionists: A man and a woman who were on duty in the Green Acres resort when Neeraj came for a holiday, supposedly with Saloni.

6. Waiter: The Green Acres Resort

7.Owner Perfect Placements: The owner comes to Dipika to complain that some of her officers had broken into his office illegally.

8. Cats😉 : Yaar they were the ones to give Aryan a break in the case. So they are important, aren't they?😆

Motive:

Neeraj and Koyal had an affair. When Saloni one day comes to know of this truth. So Neeraj and Koyal decide to murder her.

So as planned Koyal and Neeraj go to stay in the Resort as husband and wife. But Koyal is carefull that no one sees her very clearly, by wearing scarf and glasses. As she resembled Saloni a little, the receptionist and the waiter mistake her for Saloni, whose photo they see later.

Then Koyal and Neeraj stage a act that he and his wife had a fight, after which the wife leaves the hotel in haste. So Neeraj's alibi is created as he stays in the hotel for rest of the days, till Saloni's body is found.

But actually Saloni is at home and returns from shopping thurday afternoon. Neeraj come in secretly murders her and then goes to the resort with Koyal to stage the act.

Vertigo Revisited

Saloni, a 30 year old woman, is found dead in the bath tub of her house. Looks like she has been electrocuted while drying her hair. Special Squad is called in and they talk to Saloni's sister Koyal, who was the first to discover the body.

Koyal blames Neeraj, (Saloni's husband) for the crime as he was a loser and her sister and Neeraj often had fights. Special Squad orders a search for Neeraj. They suspect Neeraj, however the people at his ofice claim him to be a nice guy. Their search also leads to a sea side resort where Neeraj is holed up, drunk out of his wits and he has an interesting story to tell...

What is it? And who is the killer?

The episode starts off with a woman who is in her bathroom and has just taken a bath. She is using a hair dryer on her hair. Suddenly, someone enters the bathroom wearing gloves and gets into a fight with her. The person pushes her into the bathtub, tries to drown her at first, but later uses the hair dryer to electrocute her, the scene ends there.


Cut to the next scene, Aryan has stayed in the office again over the night, Deepika realises this but says nothing. However, she tells him that the Commissioner wants a detailed report about how and why Aryan decided to use Neha as a scapegoat in the previous case. Aryan taunts her that this matter was supposed to be private, so how come it reached the Commissioner's ears? Dipika tells Commissioner asked and she had to tell him. He knows that she never lies.

He tells her that after Satyavadi Harishchandra, she is the one and only Satyavadi Harishchandrika. He taunts her saying that she likes it when he is being reprimanded by the Commissioner. She lists all the things that she did for him, how she stuck up for him in the case, at the end of it all, Aryan says, "Tumne sach mein mere liye itna sab kaha?' 😳 , slight hint of romance there. They share a eye to eye look alas Boxer ko bhi abhi aana tha 😕 😉

A new case arrives, the same woman mentioned earlier, Saloni, is found lying dead in the bath tub.


It appears that her sister, Koyal Mehta has discovered her body. Shotgun tells Aryan that the cause of death is electrocution and it is Sunday today, and this woman died between Thursday night and Friday morning. Koyal tells them that she was trying to call Saloni but she wasn't picking up the phone, she entered the house with a spare key and found the windows open. Then, she discovered her sister lying dead.

Koyal suspects her sister's husband Neeraj.Saloni's husband, Neeraj Khanna cannot be contacted. He is not picking up his phone. Her father also arrives there and is shocked to find Saloni dead. From the looks of the house, Saloni was either going somewhere or coming back from somewhere with her luggage. Aryan finds the window open and sees two cats sitting outside. They find somethings from the supermarket including a piece of meat which has turned rancid because of being kept out for so long.


Koyal and her father are taken to the SS Office for interrogation. The father says that Saloni was very orgaised and that he was very lucky to have had such a daughter, but she made one mistake, getting married to Neeraj. He criticises Neeraj and accuses him of killing Saloni. Koyal too, criticises Neeraj. They trace Neeraj to a resort where he is in a drunken state. He tells them that Saloni and he had a fight at the resort and Saloni fought and left and that's the last he saw of her on Thursday afternoon. On enquiring in Neeraj's workplace, the entire staff tells him that he was a very good man, very dedicated anddrunk only occassionally. Aryan wonders how there can be two sides to the same man.

Koyal meets Aryan privately mainly because she is scared of her father's reaction and tells Aryan that Saloni had mentioed to her that she was having an affair with someone. However, Saloni's father and husband rule out this possibility rubbishing it. There is no financial transactions in Neeraj's bank account indicating that he might have hired a killer to kill Saloni.

Aryan is thinking of the case wheh he gets confused about the meat thing. He calls discussion saying that an organised lady like Saloni will not leave a meat packet outside the freezer, so she must have been killed in the afternoon of the thursday. Which means Neeraj went to the resort with some other girl and not Saloni. When he leaves again to enquire at the resort, Dipika stops him saying he has no solid proof. Aryan tells her that if he folllows this lead he will get the proof. Also when he thinks of something he has to check it out. Dipika finally gives in saying that "You never give up. Do you?" Aryan says no. Dipika comments "This sttitude of yours makes me agree to all what you say". Aryan casually comments before leaving "I love you for this". Only Neha and Dipika are left behind who are shocked at this statement. the normally stern Deepika Gosh, breaks into her very first smile-cum-blush. 😍

On enquring in the resort, it is observed that no one had seen Saloni clearly and that the girl with Neeraj that time could be a look alike of Saloni. She didn't stay at the reception for long, making excuse of the restroom. Also when the waiter had taken their orders they were fighting but he hadn't seen the lady proper;y too.

Aryan and Neha break into Neeraj's office to see if Neeraj has hired any model who is a lookalike of Saloni since he works in a placement agency. While doing this the spy camreas hidden there, capture their pictures. However, they do not notice this.

Aryan works out a riddle in the middle of the night and tells Deepika to come to the SS Office. He tells her and Boxer that its not possible that if the windows of Saloni's house were open and there were cats outside, they would not come inside because of the meat. He concludes that it was a pre-planned murder which Koyal was also a part of.

When Saloni discovered that her husband was having an affair with her own sister, she lost it, and fought with them anmd came back home. Koyal and Neeraj meanwhile, staged a fake fight in the resort to create a fake alibi and then Neeraj went ahead and murdered Saloni. Aryan and Boxer go to get Neeraj and Aryan looks at Dipika for approval which she gives.


Aryan, Ajay and Boxer go to find Neeraj at the hotel where he is staying, he is not there. Aryan asks Koyal's father to check if Koyal is in her room. He goes there when Aryan is on the line and is shocked to discover Neeraj and Koyal sleeping together. They try to pacify him and Aryan overhears this over the phone. Neeraj and Koyal are trying to murder Mr. Mehta when Aryan and gang arrive there and save him. The culprits are caught and the case closed.

The owner of the Perfect Placements comes to the office, gives the tapes of Aryan and Neha break in. She tells Aryan that he's an extremely weird guy, she says that, "Its high time he changed". Aryan says,"My mother also says this.But I can't help it" She tells him not to avoid the topic. He says I will change from now onwards and is leaving the room when Deepika asks him where he is going, he replies,"Change karne.......apne kapde." Dipika shouts at him to close the door, but of cours eh doesn't 😆

Deepika says that he's impossible, Neha says "No mam, he's amazing. Aur isiliye hum sab ussse itna pyaar karte hain" Deepika: "Hum sab mat bolo Neha. Tum sab." Neha: "Nahi mam, hum(stressing here) sab." Deepika smiles blushing again. The episode ends. ☺️
