😉 This might be a fun topic. Overhyped movies in recent times which released and ended up being ****. I can name a lot of them - but I won't do all the work. Some examples are Happy New Year, Bang Bang, etc.

Yes lacked originality. It was somewhat like Oh My God and Aamir's botoxed face makes me cringe.

I loved the movie, Aamir always does great.

But Anushka's duck lips were even scarier. 😆

Off the top of my head, Jab Tak Hain Jaan. I know a lot of the hype was due to late Yash Chopra directing again. But the concept was ridiculous especially for today's audiences and our taste. I still can't stop laughing about the fact that the Indian army put a man who wanted to get himself killed in charge of their bomb squad 😆 😆. When was it decided that Aditya Chopra was a good writer? 😆

I'm sure there are other films too but this is the only one I can think of right now.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan was a bit of a let down. The saving grace was Anushka. Shahrukh is Shahrukh. Katrina killed the entire movie. I think a lot of people held high expectations from this movie being from Yash uncle. But it wasn't able to create the magic that Yash uncle's movies did before. Part of the reason was star-cast (yes, Katrina in specific). Story failed to deliver to. But Anush..man she stole the show!
