Nothing hurts more than being disappointed by the person you thought would never hurt you. ~Unknown
"He is the hero of her childhood and often a wall she pushes against during her adolescence. He is often both the rule-maker, laying out laws of discipline and competence, and the rule-breaker, helping his daughter take risks, push the envelope, and explore uncharted worlds.
~Michael Gurian, The Wonder of Girls
The episode itself was not a bad one. I actually I quite enjoyed it due to the Ruman scenes.
For the pity I lost for Ishita returned back today. Ruhi is only mad at Ishita which sucks so bad because Ishita did what she did was all for Raman. And now Ishita is the only one paying such a hefty price for it. They say we get mad at those who we love the most and this definitely applies in Ishru's situation. I have two theories in why Ruhi is mad at Ishita.
- From all the people in her life, Ruhi never though her Ishita would be the one to give up on her. Ruhi trusts Ishita the most, and when her own mother didn't fight for the child was blinded sided really badly. Also Ruhi probably taught that no matter what, her Ishimaa would fight for her.
- The second reason could be Ishita denied Ruhi as her daughter and that hurt her more than anything. She did call herself Ruhi's stepmother when we all know Ruhi has always fought against that.
- Both my theories could be correct or wrong
Whatever the reason is, Ishita is the only one paying for it. The last scene made me tear up. Those emotions that were gone now returned today. She was so desperate to see her daughter that she ran on one leg to meet her daughter. That is what you call true love. It made nostalgic to see the flashback of their first meeting with the Bg music. I am not looking forward to see Ishita being rejected by Ruhi on Monday.
Ruman scenes were sweet to see. As much as I am mad at Raman for the situation they are in, no one can deny this man loves his daughter a lot. Watching his joy by seeing Ruhi was sweet and wiping off the lipstick were heart-warming. These are the reasons why I stay loyal to the show because you never know when cvs will provide you with quality scenes. Also, he was ready to give back Shagun money so Ruhi would not have to work. I am maybe the minority but it was nice for Raman to give up his ego for his daughter. I enjoyed watching Raman fight for her. That's what a father is, fighting for his children. For once I want Raman to be the one to fix the mess he caused. Please cvs if you're reading this, bring back the epic RKB.
Shagun is such a low life woman. That's the nicest way I can put it. Both Raman and Ashok never fell for her excuses because both know what tye of woman she is. The ego on her is disgusting. I wanted to punch this woman today. Blackmailing an innocent child to live an elite lifestyle in my books is emotional abuse. She has done that with Adi and now she is doing that with Ruhi. The first hand this woman wants Ruhi to stay away from her parents and the next second she is using them to emotional blackmail her to doing what she wants. One thing I have to give it to Shagun is that she knows how use people's weakness against them. That's why her latest target was Ruhi because she herself knows Ishita loves Ruhi more than a biological mother can love her. Again I am tired of seeing Shagun on my screen and I am so happy that Anita got a new show.
---Notes---
I know I said that the cvs introducing the Mihika marital rape track was bad timing but it made me thing, they probably introduced Mihika's truth and rape track because KP wasn't available. My only concern is they will not give proper justice to the whole issue. But I will keep my hopes up high.
For Shagun today:
