Much needed questions...

Tell me are they mothers or children ?

Have to wonder as to why they are so angry?

Need to know why, why she needs to be a more perfect bahu than a biwi?

Is there a need for mother figures to plot against their son and his wife.?

Why is Narmada so unforgiving ?

Don't mothers have something called "maternal instincts" that want happiness for their children?

Why are they always bickering among themselves?

And again , why are they behaving like badly brought up kids? Seems to me that Arushi will eventually "mother" them.

The ongoing answer is that their son lied and its all their bahu's fault. The answer in the future might be something else... this would be according to the writers whims and fancy.

However the story line goes, it has just shown that women who live together are
*unreasonable
*cannot get along with one another
*grumpy
*mean
*rude
*unlovable and
*irritating.

I love the leads though. They are fantastic!

Those are some very valid questions and observations.
Well...the official version that the CVs presumably want us to believe is that since each mother has faced terrible betrayals and pain in their lives, they cannot tolerate the idea of "losing" Vihaan to anyone else. They already share Vihaan with six other mothers so the idea of a seventh 'competitor for Vihaan's love' is not appealing to any of them. They want all his focus and attention and love. So the thought that he loved a girl enough to lie to them is one that makes them want to kill themselves😳

Which is why my personal version is that most of them need psychiatric help :/ When they were discussing Vihaan's marriage, not one of them asked Vihaan about his hopes and dreams regarding his wife. They wanted a girl who will take care of them in their old age. That's all. If Vihaan happened to like his wife, that would just be a happy coincidence 😆 🥱 I agree with you... I think we're going to see Aarushi become a 'mother' figure to her mothers in law.

The leads are the Only reason my interest managed to survive the post-marriage week. And now I'm glad I continued to watch because I'm hugely enjoying Arhaan's scenes these days. The rest of the scenes - especially the ridiculous plotting and Pandit family ones - are just 🤢

This couple needs to bring a few babies in this world for the moms😆 IMO, that's a solution.
About the underlined, I think most of serialdom and even real life moms have this expectation... the boy and his liking and later the bahu and her feelings, hardly matter.
I watch only 1 episode per week while there was a time I watched almost all before these people married..
Honestly are the makers trying to reiterate what all serials have already done till kingdom come. That MILs are rude, irrational and totally not worth living with.
I thought this serial was different...
More than Aarushi's mayka, her sasuraal scenes irritate me.
And being a very career oriented woman, it is difficult for me to watch Aarushi's struggle.
everyone except the ghar ki bahu's schedule is kept in mind while organizing a pooja... so often seen and handled. now show something different please

@minnie - Agree with you totally.. they HAVE to show the MILs behaving differently. A small change was shown in Friday's episode with two of the moms, but I know it is temporary. I don't expect the moms to start adoring Aarushi all of a sudden, but the makers should show them behaving like normal women. Those plotting scenes were pukeworthy 🤢 it reeks of saas-bahu-ness which I cannot stand 🥱 And Aarushi's work-pooja stress...omg that brought back some mighty unpleasant memories for me 😆

Exactly.Ranju...They can be rude and curt with her.. give her cold shoulder. But being downright nasty.. its a strict no no!.
Honestly a high pressure career and home is no cake walk. And the fact that most of Aarushi's MILs have no other life other than to wait for their day to make brkfast for Vihaan, makes them sitting ducks for plotting pukey plots😉
Oh dear the MIL's obsessions with a pooja path wali Bahu brings scarey memories, I do not want to relive on a serial atleast.
I guess it makes sense for Aarushi to find a good getaway for these totally veli women, enjoying the luxuries of a palatial house without having to lift a finger
