Uff. You've made me crave your presence when I write these comments, and I really want to see your expression.

That aside, Di- your writing has grown and changed so much. I am so very, very proud of you. I know I repeat this phrase a lot, but I mean it fully. You are amazing. Whoever the challenger was clearly underestimated your ability, because what you do with 5000 words... is just phenomenal.

You have done such a fantastic job with their pain- that memory made me cringe. I can feel the hurt they must have felt in that moment. Arnav, hurt that his wife would even think that, and Khushi because she's hurt that he would even do that. The distance between them has never seemed larger than in that moment.

Their arguments are just as potent- when Arnav tells her he won't sign the papers, and the anger that they have makes me wince. They're both so stubborn and yet... it's not rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise, isn't it? It'll have to happen- whether they want it or not.

Heh. The samosas made me giggle 😆 😆 😆 As did shirtless Arnav! What a snarky man- I love it! "Rough night"- way to put it in your stubborn wife's (no pun intended, of course). 👏Your Arnavs are always just... sigh. Give me them, please! I'm hopelessly single, ya?

I love the little urges these two have to connect- and I hate them for resisting it. Just give in, damnit! I like how that connection is still there, even if Khushi would love to pretend it doesn't exist. Despite the distance...

As always- I love your friendship. There's a camaraderie that you excel at bringing out, and Aman and Arnav are no different. I can sense Aman's frustration with his friend shutting him out- he does exactly what I would have done- albeit with a lot less subtlety.

Uff. That last line! You and your closers. You always leave me wanting more, and I want it now. Don't you think you should indulge your little sister? No?

Kickass. You just outdo yourself with this story.

Love you always,
Your Choti :)

A perfect epigraph for the update Jigs. The sun streaming in burning his eyes is more than just a literal wake up call.

We end up saying such hurtful things when tired, when angry, when frustrated. Pent up emotions cause us to lash out at the one closest to us, and then regret it instantly. It may be our insecurity talking, but words which pierce our sense of self are not easy to overlook. When not dealt with they fester away and cause the sense of outrage to harden until eventually the initial reason is all but lost in the miasma of misery. Every relationship needs nurturing. And that of a husband wife, sabse zyaada. These two started out with so much love, it permeates every tangible thing in their living space.

I loved the way you wrote their morning after. As ever, just so real. One can easily picture the scene, their years together making it appear superficially harmonious. The inherent attraction for the other very apparent. How quickly that changed. All the grievances waiting to be aired bursting out shattering that fragile appearance of calm.

You have an excellent eye for detail, making each scene vividly alive for the reader. Their clothes, their surroundings, the slow revelation of their background, all a pleasure to read. But, the best part is the way you show their thought processes. Getting me into the head of the protagonists. I love that.

I really like your Aman. I liked how he understands Arnav, how he cares for him, how he just knows him. Arnav's going to need all of that in the, undoubted, turbulent times ahead. As ever, your last lines leave me wanting the next update to be yesterday!

Oh, and anytime Arnav chooses to make me a flat white, with or without his T-shirt, I will not be commenting on the inappropriateness of his attire ;)

Ok, the last line had me in tears..wonderful Jigs.. I can feel the anguish and my heart went out to Arnav..

So clearly this is the case of insecurities and lack of trust on Khushi's part exacerbated by his long working hours and one female client.. I see clearly Arnav is trying not to give up on the marriage and I trust him that he is loyal towards his marriage.

Being a professional herself, doesn't Khushi understand that there men and women at work place? If she has doubts, there are other means to clear her doubts.. Instead she accuses him, argues with him and now wants to end the marriage?? Sorry, I find her very irresponsible at this point..

Looks like this Alisha has played some games on Arnav's back and Khushi has bought into her lies and has immediately judged Arnav guilty.. Or everything is in Khushi's head😕

I think it's good for Arnav's sanity to go ahead with the divorce
