Dharma confronts Chanakya and blames him for lying to her, for giving her false hopes. Chanakya in turn scolds her that she failed to make Ashok respect his father and she should have had more faith in her love.Dharma says that she is done with the games and she would make Bindusar know the truth. She says if a king can't protect his song then what's the point of being a king and she leaves the place.
In palace Justin gets drunk and knocks on Noor's door. Devi Helena watches with a shock as Justin enters Noor's chambers. Inside he stops her blabbering and says he is going to love her as no one has ever loved.
Next day Charumitra and Sushim are having a conversation where she's telling him to go to forest and get his dad. He agrees. He's also pissed about the fact that Bindusar is being close to Ashok!
Ashok and Bindusar are in the hut and Ashok is telling him about the different jadibutti's (herbs) and they share a moment. Bindusar is impressed with his knowledge and Ashok gives all the credit to his mother. He feels that maybe his mother knew that he would be left alone so she taught everything to him so fast. They proceed to have food.
chanakya again warns Dharma againstconfronting Bindusar. She defies him and continues to walk towards the hut. A worried Radhagupt asks Chanakya to stop her, but he says he is helpless and will accept whatever happens.
Bindusar and Ashok are enjoying their food and Bindusar reminisce the delicious food he had a long time ago. Ashok says except for his mother's bitter kaada everything was delicious. He sadly says that now he would do anything for that sweet love hidden behind the bitter drink. Dharma is standing outside and listening to all this. Suddenly both Ashok and Bindusar look towards the door and Ashok says Maa and Bindusar is shocked and says how can this happen.
Dharma sees Khorasan and one soldier approaching on horses and she quickly hides behind some hay. Bindusar and Ashok walk back in to the hut after not finding anyone.
Khorasan tells the soldier that he will prove today that Bindusar will never say no to him. Khorasan enters the hut and complains to Bindusar about the in obedience that the soldier is showing towards him . The soldier tries to defend himself but Bindusar doesn't listen to him, he says if he can't follow his senapati hr should not be working and dismisses him. The shocked soldier leaves.
Afterwards when Khorasan leaves, Asok reprimands Bindusar for taking a decision without hearing from the other person's side. Bindusar agrees that maybe he was right but the head of army is like the father of army and if he doesn't side with him then there might be an upheaval in the force.
Ashok says that he hates his father and wants to punish jim. He believes his father is a coward for abandoning him even before he was born. Bindusar tells him that women are more brave than a man, the sacrifice's done by a woman are great and she still loves everyone unconditionally. Ashok says his mother had to bear all the difficulties in raising him. His father ruined his childhood. Bindusar tries to reason by saying maybe the person had some solid reason for doing that and then says he had also done his life biggest mistake by not able to go back to the woman to whom he owed so much and now she is dead and he can't do anything about it.
Dharma is silently listening to the whole exchange and is saddened to see tthehatred that Ashok has for his father. She feels it's not the correct time to tell him about his father.
She walks from her hiding place and Khorasan stops her. She gets scared and he gets suspicious.
Precap: Dharma is running in the woods with Khorasan chasing her. She tries to hide in some bushes. He's slashing some bushes. đ„±
