a question about snape

hi i m silent member here reading most posts

i was reading again hp7 and came to the portion where snape tells voldemort to let him go and find potter

i dont understand this he wanted to save the boy but why did he want to leave voldemort and go find him

why did snape want to go away from voldemort to find harry

i cant get it at all still

over all i feel snape character through out the series has been nicely done

and till end u wonder what it is about snape what mystery he holds

still i hope someone answers my question

its just before voldemort orders nagini to kill snape

and that is another thing

voldemort didnt use killing curse on snape

how come

He wanted to leave and find Harry because he wanted to tell Harry the truth.
Remember , the way Harry found out the truth wasnt what was planned.
Dumbledore never planned Severus Snape's death.
DD tells snape that A time will come when Voldemort keeps Nagini protected and not send her to do his bidding and at that time, it would be safe for Severus to tell Harry the truth. Snape wanted to find Harry bcoz he wanted to tell him the plan the truth.

also, Snape didnt know abt this Hallos n stuff...he wasnt afraid of Death..of course no he was putting himself in mortal danger thruout..he was afraid that he wud be unable to fulfill what DD had told him ie: to tell Harry what has to be done.

n then u ask why didnt Voldemort use the Elder Wand against Snape. Bcoz He thought Snape is the master of The Elder Wand. The Elder Wand will not work properly against its own master.
But I doubt if thats the reason coz if it was, then I wonder why Voldy tried to kill harry with the Wand inspite of now noeing that Harry is the master of the Wand...I am not so sure abtthat one..But abt ur first question, I am confident thats the answer 😊

snape dint use d killlin curse bcoz he thot snape was its present master n it wud not act against its master(as it dun in cse of harry)....n snape wand 2 find harry cuz he wantd 2 tel evrythn dat DD tld him to....u remember d memory?

me too agree with u........but at last where voldy used that wand against harry it was out of the shock.......there was no other option left but disarm harry & posses the elder wand.......but again voldy being ignorant about his mistakes used the killing curse........& I feel if voldy used the curse with some other wand also it would not worked because Lily's protection was still working.....

i wonder how the story wud hv shaped if snape had managd to tell harry the truth or if he wanted to tell him the truth that he loved lily all his life wud that hv changed the way harry looked at him or wud that have changd snape feelings either

but some how snape was goin to die as most of the members of the old lot were dead
also i understand ur theory why snape was not killed by elder wand
as voldy thought snape was master and wand wont work on him

yeah i too do think so. I guess his awful ignorance and he had no option but use the wand in hand or Harry will kill him....

yep that's right if snape was the master the wand will not act against him.....but then that's why harry did not tell voldy that he was the real master he put him under the impression that draco was still the master!!!!!!!😃
