If he doesn't give Chang's name, then all Chang fans are going to hate him, similarly Ankita fans are targeting him because he did not give her name. And, because he did give his own name, he is now considered arrogant instead of what he truly is, which is gifted and confident. I really think the question to Emon was very unfair.
On the other hand, the question to Prashant was a gift for him and his fans. Because he named himself as over-rated, his fans can say he is humble. Because he named an ex-contestant like Parleen, he is pretty much safe because Parleen fans have probably moved on to supporting Ankita. And naming Chang was also a safe bet because many people do consider Chang over-rated.
So, why did Sony do this? Why give a contestant like Emon such an unfair question and then turn around and give a total "gift" question to Prashant. Doesn't the channel realize that by doing things like this they are virtually guaranteeing that Emon will be out this week? I hate it when the channel plays with these contestants future like this.
Please don't let the channel manipulation sway you from voting for the best. It does not matter if you consider performance more important than singing or vice-versa. The only thing that matters is that you watch the gala each Friday and vote for the best based on the contestants' performance/singing in that gala. Shows like Robaroo and the opinions of ex-contestants like Puja are important, interesting and fun, but when voting, please, please, please, base your vote on who you think is the best in the gala.
