UPDATE 23 AUGUST: JandA back in GM

After what seems to have been ages, JandA once more get ready to go to Gulmohur. Jassi, in a yellow sari with her hand on Armaan's arm, proudly enters the beloved office where the journey of her dreams had first started.

The first person they bump into is Pari. She fumbles, fidgets and then says "Hi!" with rather forced enthusiasm.

But is JandA who are more taken aback. Pari is wearing long flowing robes with mysterious symbols on them and a turban exactly like the one Meghna wears during one of her "cosmic contact" sessions. But she sidles away before they get a chance to ask her about it.

Jassi: (whispering) Armaan….maine ye sachmuch dekha ya mere contact lenses ka number badh gaya hai?

Armu: Hum dono ko koi joint hallucination toh nahi ho rahi hai na? Hume Meghna ke upar Pari ki shakl dikh rahi hai, ya Pari mein Meghna ki aatma aa gayi hai?

Just then Raj arrives and overhears. "Iss sawaal ka jawab main de sakta hun, lekin mazaa toh tab aayega jab tum dear Pari ko uske naye side-business mein kaam karte dekho!"

Armu: Side business?

Raj: (smiling wryly) Pari, Mallika ki friend thi…issliye obvious hai ki Meghna usne apni dost banayegi hi…..aur shayad ye bhi hume guess kar lena chahiye tha ki usse apne Mumbo-Jumbo Whatever Centre…..

Jassi: You mean…uska Yantric-Tantric-Mantric Cosmic Healing Centre…..

Raj: Haan wohi…usme usse partner bana legi!

JandA: What??? Partner??

Raj: Yes!! Issliye ab Pari, sirf Pari nahin rahi….ab wo Mystical Medium Madame Pari ho chuki hai!

Armu: (weakly) Ye Gulmohur hi hai na…..ya main kahi aur pahunch gaya hun….

Raj: Umm…waise baaki sab wahi hai….including our marvelous Maddy!

Maddy comes in at this moment and greets them ecstatically. He congratulates Jassi for successfully setting up the Kangra crafts village, and kisses her hand so many times that Armu starts looking jealous!

Then Ruby mom and Nazneen arrive, and hug her in delight. Armu jokes, "Sab ko Jassi par pyaar umad raha hai….mujhe bhi koi hug kar do yaar!"

Raj: Okay….ab agla insaan jo yahaan aayega, wo Armaan ko hug karega…..

And the next person who comes forward is Neha! Armu grins and moves towards her, but Raj blocks his way.

Armu: No no….that's cheating Raj…tumne kaha tha…..

Raj: Arre yaar mujhe laga Nandu hoga…..chal theek hai, kar le hug….apni bhabhi par itna haq toh hai hi!

Armu grins and affectionately hugs the smiling Neha. Just then Nandu speeds in, saying "Koi Mr.Malhotra mujhe bahut miss kar rahe hai…kya baat hai?"

Raj: Tujhe kaun miss karega….

Nandu: Kuch kaha…?

Raj: Umm….kuch bhi nahin…main toh keh raha tha ki Jassi tumhe bahut miss kar rahi hogi, ja kar usse mil lo!

Nandu: Iske liye mujhe tumhari permission ki zaroorat nahin hai!

Jassi and Nandu hug, and then he leads her and Armaan into their office, where the familiar tables and chairs await their rosy future.

Monday: Wedding preparations

I am loving the relation between Raj and Nandu, their conversations are hilarious. 😆
