I agree with some of the comments here: MC has not explored a good variety of different vegetarian dishes or vegetarian substitutes. Also, there are different cuisines they have not really explored. I thought this season was supposed to take vegetarian cooking to a global level, but I'm disappointed by the outcome.

So basically, if anyone wants to win MCI, all they need to know is how to cook khandvi, ghewar and what goes well with these two dishes?

There's so much to explore in vegetarian food.

And if they thing meat is more experimental, there's always tempeh, seitan and soya!!

They can explore different cuisines. So far it's just been indian (there's actually many more than what we've seen) and Italian.

There is no variety this time and vegetarian is definitely not the issue

actually french dish (the creme brulee in the group task) and japanese (the sushi dish)

Agreed, but that's just one instance. We are talking in general here. There's also been hummus. But what we mean is they arent trying too much international cuisine or different indian cuisines also.

They may have used a vegetarian form of gelatin.

Well, if they're calling it gelatin, then it might not be vegetarian, but I would hope so since it's a pure vegetarian season.

Actually too think of it Khandvi and Ghewar were given to them as tasks just once.

Otherwise the contestants have made it with their own free will.

I don't blame Masterchef for too much khandvi and ghewar, but the contestants who show absolutely no creativity.

I am bored seeing khandvi and ghewar.
