TOI:Arjun Bijlani opposite Radhika( Ishani) in Meri Aashiqui

Arjun Bijlani, whose last daily soap was SAB TV's 'Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar', is returning to the fiction genre with Ekta Kapoor's 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi'. He will be paired opposite Ishani (Radhika Madan) on the show.



We hear actor Shaleen Bhanot was also considered for the part, but Arjun beat him to the role. Since the male lead Shakti Arora will soon start shooting for a dance reality show, the story demands the entry of a parallel lead. Says a source associated with the show, "Arjun will be seen as a casanova laywer." Arjun, who is best remembered as Alekh Sharma from the TV show 'Left Right Left', was missing from the small screen for a while as he was shooting his Hindi filmHo Gaya Direct Ishq'.

The actor confirmed that he is part of the show, but refused to divulge further details of his character.
