SO, the episode left most( all?) of us pretty emotional..
Amidst all these beautifully-worded posts, I did not have much else to add that already didn't there...
So I penned it down the way I knew: in verse.
It's a short one (thank God!) and is inspired from one of the things Rida said in her reply to my comment on her post
I will unravel today,
That iron-sheathed thread of softest silk,

I felt like I deserved love (maybe)

I liked myself.
You unpicked each knot,
with every smile,
every gentle touch,
you pulled me back.
You pushed me away:
But I was always yours.
This thread,
here,
I give you all of broken me.
piece me as you will.
( if you want me to stay);
I give you this broken soul
( it was always yours)
mend it if you wish.
Unraveling,
I found myself in your arms,
held together by your gentle,
firm touch.
Hold me, please.
I have no more threads to bind
myself with;

so i can finally close my eyes
