Karan arrives on the factory shed scene with the cops who declare they have recorded Shivansh fully and are arresting him. Meanwhile Karan also says there has been no murder since Aditya is only acting as if dead, but not really so.
Karan then tells the full story to Kajal that after he found out how Shivansh was trying to blackmail Dev with the mobile recording, he only went to Aditya and took his help for this whole factory shed naatak to catch Shivansh.
He also then tells Kajal not to accuse Dev for he was drunk and was made angry and suspicious of the affair between Kajal and Aditya by Shivansh who was feeding poison into Dev's mind. So he tells Kajal to forgive Dev as his deep love only made him so vulnerable to Shivansh manipulations.
Dev also begs Aditya's forgiveness, but Aditya also says it is a sign of his love for Kajal and forgives him and walks away. Then the cops take away Shivansh, but suddenly Shivansh pushes one of the cops, grabs his gun and tries to shoot Dev, but Karan jumps in the way and the bullet hits Karan who falls to the ground.
Dev-Kajal then rush Karan to a hospital, and outside his room for the first time Dev gets a chance to really beg Kajal's forgiveness. He says he wants to cry but is even ashamed of his shallow tears in front of Kajal's more deep hurt at his behaviour.
He says since he is unfit for her love, he will go away from her life, and then he starts walking away. But Kajal runs after him and says she understands it was all due to his love. She then takes him before the Ganpati in the hospital to promise never to leave her again in life.
Dev promises and so they both patch up inb love their differences. Meanwhile the nurse says Karan is awake and calling them so they go into his room where Nandini and Chachi are also there. Karan begs Dev for forgiveness for all his mistakes and says he may not have much time to live … but if he lives, he begs Dev for a chance to go back to live in his house. Dev refuses to answer and suddenly Karan becomes more serious in condition so the doctor sends them all out.
Outside Dev is torn between the need to forgive Karan for saving his own life from Shivansh and also seeing Nandini's condition, while he also remembers the way Karan killed their mother and also once tried to shoot Dev. Kajal seeing Dev's uljhan advises him to forgive and let Karan come home for the sake of Nandini, saying God is already punishing him enough.
Dev and family then bring Karan home in a wheelchair. After they all go to their rooms Dev is staring at his mother's photo and wondering what his mother would feel about her assassin coming back to this house. And whether he took the right decision to bring back Karan. Nandini comes there and thanks him for giving her a married life back.
In his room upstairs, however, Karan is seen dashing a photo of happily married Dev and Kajal to the ground, breaking the glass of the photo. He stands up from the wheelchair with ease and crushes the photo with his foot saying "I have managed to get back into this house by climbing on Dev's chest. Now I will crush him underfoot!" Freeze.
