Akheraj family own a car, they use surf for washing their clothes yet they dress in very old rural costumes and use traditional cooking stove (heated by burning wood, charcoal & animal dung) for cooking.

Akheraj suspects his daughter still she is allowed to wear backless blouses.

They believe in Devi yet they commit all sorts of sins including kidnapping of children...🤢
Men have no respect for women and that woman tortures a small girl.

They've done bal vivaah of their son and their daughter is unmarried.😲 (I think she'll be 23)

CVs are confused.

And looks like after all they are also haveli wale😆. Though their house didn't look like one😕. Still it looks like they are wealthy now considering that some guy asked more time for repayment of the loan that they gave and has a big car. Earlier when they kidnapped Nandini, Akhera guy commented that if they got kundan married to some other girl they would get 2 lacs as dowry. So he was poor earlier I guess😕.
Child marriage of kundan was done because devi told Kundan had some dosh😕. Maybe the family doesn't follow child marriage tradition as such.

I will call them half baked. They are confused villagers. strangely they have planned family with only 2 kids. From Sumitra,Bhairon to akhera and Harki.

BVs cant afford to pay for more kids.

CVs want Akhiraj's wife to burn Nimboli's hands and legs which is impossible with gas stove. So they planned to use traditional stove where burning charcoal can be used. 😆

I think the only thing modern about them is that vehicle that Akhera Singh drives.
Rest of it all is quite backward and very rural
Backless cholis are more traditional rather than the ones which people wear now😛😆

I call it dichotomy of BV. Be it BH or KB or now this Akheras - creatives are confused what to show. Even in days when BH did not have modern amenities like a mobile phone, they did have a modern kitchen including a built-in self-ignition hob. People in KB were called urban modern people, but they did show so many unheard of riti-rasm relating to marriage/sankranti etc. Now these Akheras and their village also do not fit anywhere. They do not appear to believe in bal-vivah because their daughter is not married and the son was got married to remove some dosh as ordered by devi. Other children in village are not not married - even girls go to school with boys, however, to give Nandini company - they have now introduced another balika vadhu - that looked too forced.
