Holding his wife feet (in those falling at someone feet was ultimate humiliation for a man unless it was to take blessings from elders that too I doubt muslims followed that ritual to take blessings)

Is this truly the great Akbar who people did sajda and would dare not sit in his presence in court(not even his darling son Salim)?

Everyone wallowing in self pity and not doing anything villagers, Akbar etc

Akbar should have by now ordered tahsildar to get rice to the village or villagers should have demanded same or Jodha for that matter by hiding their identity

If Tahsiladr did not listen to villagers plea they should complain to governor or go to agra and complain to Salim only- its 2-3 months since earth quake cannot they do this, and this has happened in nearby places of agra not far off like deccan etc that they cannot go to agra and demand.

Further is this the only village that JA are bothered what about 100s of other villages and towns.

Thank God Salim,a ram, Salima, murad and daniyal stayed back in agra ese wonder what they all would have to do to win awam heart

Agra awam is not angry at Salim they all treat him with respect when he goes out and inspects so why these villagers so much hatred for Akbar? Has he not protected them all these years. Salim has not even lived half the years that Akbar has been king for them. When they love and respect salim why so much hatred of Akbar unbelievable? Or is it like old saying Asool Sood se praya hai
