leaves you cracked me up with this line🤣but its true Why no police there to investigate the matter May be they thought Anandi and Dadisaa's bhashan is the biggest punishment for Bindiya's tausaa than police arresting him 😆

That scene at the hospital is abrupt.
We are just shown that they are in the hospital.
It had no head or tail
The scene before that was Anandi and Dsa rushing off to some place as soon as they got the news.
That means somebody already rescued that girl and brought to the to the hospital
May be the police came and registered the case and went away.😛
They are too busy with showing minute details of Nandini's kahani that they don't have time for anything else.
BTW was it Anandi giving bhashans are the man giving his POV?
If I remember right it was the man doing all the talking telling why he doesn't want this girl to learn all these things from Anandi and it was that other woman Sarita and Dsa who were giving bhashans
then the girl's mother joind the chorus too.

Attempt to suicide no more a criminal offence

Thursday, 11 December 2014

Attempt to commit suicide will no longer be a crime. The government has decided to delete section 309 of the Indian Penal Code, the union home ministry informed the parliament on Wednesday.

As per the law applicable at present, the person/s found guilty of attempting suicide is punished with one year imprisonment and fine under IPC section 309.

The decision to decriminalise attempt to suicide is based on the 210th report of the law commission of India and responses in affirmative by 18 states and four union territories, minister of state for home Haribhai Parathibahi Chaudhary said in a reply.

The Law Commission had said that attempting suicide is the "manifestation of a diseased condition of mind" that needs treatment and care rather than punishment.

...

Not sure whether it has been passed by parliament.

BV has stopped caring for law long back. The last time they followed law when they informed about legality of child marriage - when Bhairo contacted a lawyer regarding Anandi- Jagdish marriage. After that - BV has laws of its own. Before leap also, there was an attempted suicide in school - what happened in that case?
Before leap they did show child marriages stopped in Jaitsar due to great effort of their great lead. Now one generation later - Jaitsar is back to where it was? And they cannot come out of cliches. For quite some time - all their child marriages are like - the girl and her mother against child marriage - and the leads - be it Ganga or Anandi will take initiative to stop the marriage. Can't they come up with something different?
