Katrina Kaif spoke to Karan Thapar in a very interesting interview at the 'India Today Conclave 2015'. Among many things, Katrina spoke of how she came to India, and how she switched to being 'Katrina Kaif' from 'Katrina Turquotte'.
When Karan said that Ayesha Shroff, producer of 'Boom' had made a comment that Katrina's name was different at the time, Katrina said, "I would not like to dwell on that because I had a disagreement with the producers and I do not wish to discuss it. But yes, she was referring to my mother's name, which is Turquotte. Kaif is my father's name. It made more sense to to use Kaif as my father is from India and my mother is British, she is from Bath. Since I am working in a country where my Indian heritage is more important, I guess it made more sense, besides the fact that they are divorced. So..."
Well, this has always been a constant topic of discussion for Bollywood lovers. Katrina took the question head on and answered it honestly, don't you think?
