Irawati and Roopali make a daring escape from the courier office through devious use of some packets of red chilli powder bound for export, and while the cops are temporarily put out of order, they escape via the roof, and finally drive off in Roopali's car.

Shinde gives up the chase and loses them. Irawati exits the car and runs down a sidestreet, but is spotted by Shinde.

In the event she bumps into some street urchins, passes on and is trapped in a dead-end. At the last minute she is saved by Ahmed who pulls her up over the wall.

Shinde does not find her when he arrives in the dead end street. Following Ahmed's advice she changes her clothes by breaking in and stealing a fresh set from a departmental store. It is at this point that she realises that she has lost the packet.
