Part 37

Asad removed Zoya's earrings n bangles n kept it on d side table. He then removed her bangles n kept them also on d table.

"U were so brave in exposing Razia 2nite," praised Asad wid a smile.

"If u were not wid me then I wud not have been able to do dis. Main saara sach jaanne k baad toot hi gayi thi aur 2 baar suicide karne ki bhi koshish ki thi, If u wud not have been there I wud have di...," said Zoya but Asad kept a hand on her mouth 4m completing d word.

"Don't say dat word," said Asad emotionally.

She luks at him in his eyes emotinally. He removes his hand 4m her mouth n hugs her tightly. She hugs him back. They broke d hug after few minutes.

"Tum behosh ho gayi thi," said Asad.

"I know. Ammi ka skeleton dekhkar muje kuch ho raha tha," said Zoya.

"U sud sleep now," said Asad.

"Muje neend nahi aa rahi hai," said Zoya.

"Sona to padega hi tumhe. Otherwise, u will get sick," said Asad.

He made her lie down on d bed.

"So jao ab," said Asad wid a smile.

"Tum bhi so jao na," said Zoya after closing her eyes.

"Haan jaan, so raha hu," said Asad kissing her right knuckle.

He covered her wid d comforter. After she slept, he smiled lukn at her sleeping peacefully after a tensed n busy day of getn both Gaffur n Razia behind bars. He kissed her forehead, nose n cheeks. He then kisses her scars. After dat, he kisses her bare belly above her navel. He then lies next to her to sleep covering himself too wid d comforter.

Scene shifts to SM. Humeira is crying in d hall. Nikhat n Nuzhat were consoling her. Ayaan came home wid Haider while Anwar went to KV. Shirin too was crying while Badi n Ayaan were consoling her.

"Muje vishwas nahi hota hai ki mere ammi abbu itne gunaah kar sakte hai. Un dono ne Asad bhaijaan k family ko barbaad kiya, meri behen aur bhai k ammi ko maar daala aur phuphi(Shirin Bi) k ammi ammi-abbu ko bhi maar daala. Un dono k vajah se meri behen ne 2 baar suicide karne ki koshish ki. Agar Asad bhaijaan, Dilshad Bi aur Najma na hote to vo marr jaati thi. Vo mere ammi-abbu nahi hai. Vo kaatil hai. Main unn dono se kabhi nahi milungi. Vo dono family ki values hi nahi jaante hai," said Humeira while crying.

Haider went to her n wiped her tears.

"Chutki, rona band kar. Tu jaanti hai jab main chhota tha to main apni Zoya aapi se kehta tha ki agar humaari ek chhoti behen hogi to main use Chutki bulaaunga," said Haider.

Fresh tears came 4m Humeira's eyes as she hugged Haider.

"Bhaijaan," said Humeira thru her tears.

"Stop crying now," said Haider.

They broke d hug.

"I want to talk to aapi," said Humeira.

"I called Dilshad Bi n she told dat aapi has slept. She needs rest. U talk to her in d morning," said Haider.

"Okay," said Humeira.

Next morning, Zoya wakes up. She sees d time n is shocked to see its 9am.

"Main to sote hi reh gayi. Muje 6 baje uthna tha par ab to 9 baje hai. Main khaana bhi nahi bana paayi. Main alarm bhi nahi sun paayi," said Zoya.

Zoya always woke up at 8am but after marriage she started waking up at 6am cuz Asad woke up at 5:30am. Everyday she sets alarm to get up early.

"Kaise sunogi jab maine alarm off kar diya tha," came Asad's voice.

Zoya who was not aware of Asad sitting on d couch luks at him.

"Tumne alarm kyu band kiya?" asked Zoya.

"Cuz u fainted yesterday n cried a lot due to shock. So, u needed more sleep. 2day will be more tough for u cuz its Zainab ammi's funeral. Vaise bhi khaana banaane k liye aur log bhi hai yaha. Ek din khaana nahi banaogi to kuch nahi hoga," replied Asad.

Zoya smiled at him. Asad came to her. Zoya was so grateful to have Asad as her husband who cares a lot for her.

"Abhi tum ready ho jao breakfast k liye," said Asad wid a smile.

Zoya nodded her head wid a smile n got up.

Scene changes to everyone wearing dressed in white n sitting in d hall. Haider, Zoya's family, Tanveer n Kabir have also come.

"Where r others?" Zoya asked Haider.

"They r cumn," replied Haider.

Just then, Rashid, Shirin, Badi Bi, Ayaan, Humeira, Nikhat n Nuzhat also comes. Humeira goes n sits near Zoya n Haider.

"Aapi, bhaijaan," said Humeira.

Zoya lukd at Humeira n smiled.

"Aap mujse naaraz to nahi hai na, aapi?" asked Humeira.

"Main tumse kyu naaraz houngi? Jo kuch bhi hua usme tumaari galti nahi thi," replied Zoya, "In fact, tumhe to kuch pata bhi nahi tha. U were in darkness. I am sure they may have tried to make u evil like them in some or other ways but u never became like them. I am disappointed ki tumhe itne saal un logo k saath rehna pada. At least, muje to aapi k parents ne adopt kiya tha aur Haider bhi safe tha ek acche orphanage me. Par tum to unn dono ghatiya insaan k beech thi. Still, u had lots of good people around u in dat house. I am so happy dat not only I found my brother but also a sister. We sud start afresh."

Zoya hugged Humeira n she hugged her back. They broke d hug.

"U have one more sister n also an entire family," said Haider wid a smile while pointing to Zeenat, Anwar, Zameer n Zahira.

Humeira had tears in her eyes. She can't believe Zoya's adoptive family have accepted her also like Haider.

"Humeira, rona band kar. Aaj se tum humaare saath rahogi qki tum bhi humaari behen ho," said Zeenat wiping her tears.

"I don't deserve all dis after wat my parents did," said Humeira.

"Zoya ne abhi abhi kaha ki jo bhi hua usme tumhaari galti nahi thi. In fact, tum bhi ek victim thi. Tumhe sab bhulaana padega, Humeira. Bachpan me humne jab Zoya ko adopt kiya tha use uss trauma se nikalne me bahot time laga tha. I don't u also to go thru d same. We will make sure dat u move on 4m n start afresh," said Zahira.

Humeira smiled at her. She hugged her, Zameer, Zeenat n Anwar. Humeira lukd at Asad.

"Thanks Asad jiju mere behen k saath humesha rehne k liye aur uska care karne k liye. Humaare parents ne aapke family k saath bahot bura kiya fir bhi aap aapi se kitna pyaar karte hai. I am really very happy ki aap mere jiju hai," said Humeira wid a smile.

"Humeira, main Zoya se bahot pyaar kart ahu. Agar main Zoya se isliye nafrat karunga ki vo Gaffur Ahmed Siddiqui ki beti to mere aur unn logo me koi farak nahi rahega," said Asad.

Humeira smiled at him for wat he said. He too smiled at her.

Just then, Zainab's body was brought before them covered in janaazah materials. Zoya n Haider started crying. Humeira n Zeenat also started crying.

"Ammi," said Zoya while crying.

Asad was holding her hand n consoling her recalling how she fainted yesterday.

"Zoya, sambhaalon khud ko," said Asad softly.

Zoya hugged him n cried on his chest while he caressed her head. Nikhat recalled how Haider got angry at her wen she accused him of misbehaving wid her n asking him whether he don't have a sister n he apologizing her later for getn angry teln her how he misses elder sister who he has separated 4m years ago. She goes near Haider.

"Haider," said Nikhat.

Nikhat puts her hand on his shoukder n says thru her tears, "Tumhe sorry bolne ki koi jarurat nahi hai, Haider. I am so happy ki tumhaari aapi tumhe mil gayi jo koi aur nahi par Zoya bhabhi hai. Main starting me thoda hurt huvi thi par main baad me samajh ki tum galat insaan nahi ho aur tum muje kabhi hurt nahi kar sakte ho. Tumhaare aur Zoya bhabhi k saath itne "

Shirin smiled thru her tears seeing how her daughter is getn her happiness by getn such a nice man like Haider.

"Haider bahut accha ladka hai. Meri Nikhat kitni khush hai uske saath," said Shirin wid a smile to Dilshad who was sitting next to her.

Dilshad was amazed wid Shirin talking to her.

"Haider bahot accha ladka hai," said Dilshad wid a smile, "Agar koi aur ladki hoti to vo usse sagaai nahi karta. Main Zoya aur Haider ko bachpan se jaanti hu. Bahot hi pyaare bacche the. Zainab ki beti Zoya meri bahu hai aur Zainab ka beta Haider tumhaara damaad bannewala hai. Nikhat meri beti bhi hai. Main uske liye bahot khush hu."

"Dilshad, muje maaf kar do. Main tumhaare aur Rashid k beech me aa gayi. Muje nahi pata tha ki main iss ghatiya khel me mohra(pawn) hu," apologized Shirin.

"Isme tumhaari koi galti nahi hai, Shirin. Tumne bhi to apne ammi-ammi khoye hai unn dono ki vajah se. Hum ab se ek saath behnon ki tarah rahenge," said Dilshad.

"Zoya," said Dilshad cumn to her.

"Ammi," said Zoya n hugged her crying in her arms.

They broke d hug. She saw Shirin next to her.

"Phuphi," said Zoya.

Shirin did not felt happy wid Zoya calling her phuphi.

"Zoya, tum muje phuphi mat bulao. Main uss insaan ki behen nahi hu jisne hum sabki zindagi tabaah kar di," said Shirin in a hurtful voice.

"Sorry chhoti ammi," said Zoya.

Shirin smiled at Zoya for calling her chhoti ammi. Shirin hugged her happily n she hugged her back. They broke d hug.

"Tumhaare bhai ne sab jaanne par bhi Nikhat se nafrat nahi kiya. Haider bahot accha ladka hai," said Shirin.

"Haider ko jab Nikhat se pyaar hua uss time pe hum jaante bhi nahi the ki Haider mera bhai hai. Vo to Asad aur Ayaan ne pata lagaaya ki Haider mera chhota bhai hai. Ab main aur Nikhat ek doosre k bhabhi aur nanad bhi hai. Haider, ammi, abbu, aapi aur jiju sab bahot acche hai, Nikhat uss ghar me bahot khush rahegi. Haider chaahta hai ki shaadi tab hi jab Nikhat chaahe. Vo Nikhat k poori padhai k baad hi shaadi karega," said Zoya wid a smile.

In d evening, Asad told all d people of SM to live wid them in KV. Everyone agreed to live 2gthr in KV.

"Humeira, will u come n live wid us cuz u too r our daughter?" asked Zameer.

"I will come on only one condition," replied Humeira.

All r shocked.

"Wat condition, Humeira?" asked Zahira.

"My condition is dat I will be allowed to change my surname to Farooqui. I can't live wid Siddiqui surname. I want to move on," replied Humeira.

"Of course, Humeira beta. We were abt to ask d same to u," replied Humeira wid a smile.

Humeira also smiled.

"Humeira baaji, we will miss u living wid us but its important for u to live wid ur parents," said Nuzhat wid a smile.

"I am not going far 4m u all., Nuzhat. We will talk daily n meet weneva we want," said Humeira wid a smile.

2days later, all SM people except Humeira shifted to KV. Humeira shifted to FM. Haider n Humeira officially changed their surname to Farooqui 4m Siddiqui. All started living happily in KV. Dilshad n Shirin lived like sisters wid no rivalry between them. Asad started calling Shirin as chhoti ammi much to her n everyone's happiness.

One day, all r were sitting in d hall.

"Asad, Zoya, we elders were planning sumthn," said Badi Bi.

"Wat dadi?" asked Zoya.

"Its time u both sud go to ur honeymoon. U both have been married for a month now. After marriage, d situation was very tense so u both did not went to honeymoon. But now u both sud go for a Europe trip for ur honeymoon as Zoya had asked for her mehndi gift 4m u. U both need to spend some time alone," replied Dilshad wid a smile.

Asad n Zoya smiled.

"Dats a very nice plan, ammi," said Asad wid a smile, "We talked abt it after everyone shifted her but we decided to spend some time wid everyone before dat."

"Now u both can go for 2 weeks honeymoon in Europe," said Rashid wid a smile.

"Tell us all d lovely places u both will visit then next time we all family will go there 2gthr," said Shirin wid a smile.

"Sure chhoti ammi," said Asad wid a smile.

Next day, Asad brought 2 tickets for Europe trips n showed it to Zoya.

"Thank u so much, Asad," said Zoya happily hugging him tightly.

"No need to say thanks, Zoya," said Asad wid a smile hugging her back.

They broke d hug.

"It will be so much wid just u and me," said Zoya wid a smile.

I am eagerly waiting for dat," said Asad wid a smile.

Scene shifts to FM. Humeira was playing video games wid Ayesha n Rahim in d hall.

"Khala, plz play one more game na," said Ayesha wid a smile.

"Not now but later after u both finish ur homeworks," said Humiera wid a smile.

"Okay khala, u r so nice," said Rahim wid a smile.

After Ayesha n Rahim went to their room, Humeira's smile faded. It have been 2 weeks since she came to FM. Everyone loved her n adored her making her very happy but sometimes Humeira wud remember her past wid Siddiquis n get sad.

Zeenat who came in d hall saw Humeira sad. She came n sat near her.

"Humeira, wat happened? Why r u sad?" asked Zeenat.

"Nothing aapi," replied Humeira.

"Muje pata hai tu unn dono ko yaad karke upset ho rahi thi. I know ye sab tumhaare liye bhoolna itna aasaan nahi hai. But u have to move on," said Zeenat.

"Aapi, I can't believe I cud get such a loving n supporting family after wat all happened," said Humeira emotionally.

"Humeira, u deserve all d happiness in d world. U can't suffer for wat ur parents did tp many people," said Zeenat softly.

Humeira smiled n hugged her. Zeenat hugged her back.
