u r n outstanding writer dear u made us speechless by ur writing skill dear.

sanyu is suffering too much she is been uses by sameer as a toy.

she is hiding her pregnancy to everyone coz she doesn't want to loose her child.

but yaar u had made sanyu a weak dump woman.
she was d fighter in CLG days but now she become a lifeless soul.

when ll rd comes to know abt sabyu bitter past.

Chapter Seven

"I... there was dust," she lied, "I was brushing it off."

Randhir looked at her, as if he didn't believe her for a moment before he walked into his office and closed the door behind him.

"Sit down," he said, pointing to the seat in front of his.

She walked around the desk and sat down, while Randhir sat down across from her on his chair.

He handed a file to her.

"This is your contract," he told her.

She took the contract and opened it, browsing through it.

"Fifty five thousand?" she asked, her mouth dropping open.

Yesterday they had agreed on fifty - she didn't know why he increased the salary.

"You are overqualified," he explained. "I shouldn't even be hiring you. But I'm compensating for that."

She glanced at him, looking surprised... that didn't seem to make much sense but she just kept quiet. He obviously knew more about how business worked than she did.

"Also," he continued, "The company will give you a phone. We'll pay your phone bills. You'll get a car with a driver, a place to stay with a maid."

Her eyes widened when he said that.

"What?" she nearly screamed.

"Yes, it's part of our benefits package," he explained.

"But I don't need all of that!" she told him fearfully.

What would she do with a house with a maid or a car with a driver? If she told that to her family, they would find out that she was working.

"How did you get here?" he asked her.

"I... auto," she told him truthfully.

"How do you live?" he asked her.

"With my family," she told him. "In a very big house."

That was - at least - the truth. Although she wasn't sure for how much longer they would have the house.

"Family?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. "Mom? Dad? Brother?"

"Why does that matter to you?" she asked him. "That's personal."

"It's part of our workplace's policy to keep a record of who the employee lives with in case of any emergencies," Randhir told her. "I need to know."

"Randhir," Sanyukta told him with a sigh, "I mean sorry... sir. I don't need anything. The salary you're giving is more than enough."

Randhir paused for a few moments, seeming to contemplate something, before he finally spoke.

"Look Sanyukta," he said, "If you don't sign the contract as it is, I can't hire you for this job."

Chapter Eight

Randhir watched as Sanyukta pressed her lips together in deep thought. He watched the slump of her shoulders as she heaved a sigh.

"It's not like I have a choice," she mumbled. "Fine. I'll sign."

Randhir passed a pen to her and watched as she signed the contract. He took the contract from her and stared at her signature. It was signed as Sanyukta.

He closed the file.

"I need identification," he told her.

"What?" she asked, sounding surprised.

"Sanyukta, how many times do I have to tell you that this is a top level firm and we don't hire just anyone. I need to do a background check," he said to her.

"I don't have ID," she told him.

He opened his laptop and signed onto his office database. He looked up from his laptop screen and looked into her eyes. She looked back into his, her eyes holding nothing but confusion... but there was something about them that didn't sit well with him, they looked hopeless.

Randhir didn't know what was going on, but he was determined to find out. She couldn't hide it from him for long, especially if she wanted to work for him.

"Is everything okay?" he asked her, and she looked away, suddenly playing with her fingers.

"What do you mean?" she asked him. "It's odd sir, I haven't been here five minutes and you're asking me such a strange question."

"Think about how odd it looks to me then," Randhir told her calmly, "Think about how it is that you haven't been sitting here five minutes and I'm already wondering whether everything is okay with you."

"Of course everything is okay," Sanyukta said quickly. "I mean, if it wasn't... I wouldn't be here."

"That isn't true," he pointed out, "You only came here because you needed to support yourself. So clearly everything is not okay."

"If you already know, then why are you asking?" she snapped, sounding irritated. "Please keep this professional sir. You have no right to ask me if anything is okay with me personally."

Randhir felt a bit hurt when she said that - it was as if they were strangers and he was asking that question. While it was true that they hadn't been in contact for so many years, and they had both probably changed so much in the last few years, his deep level of care for her hadn't vanished at all.

He let the feeling subside though... because she was right. He didn't have any right to interfere in her personal life. But he did have the right to know one thing... and that was her real full name.

"What's your full name?" he asked her. "I need this information for my database."

He watched as she hesitated before finally answering.

"Sanyukta Mittal," she told him, her face becoming pale as soon as she said that.

wow u surely know how to keep yr readers at the edge of their seat ,Amazing update as usual and she blurted out the truth finally that she is a Mittal ,Wana see RD's reaction to it .

Btw this is what i am felling will happen

1]Either RD will support her and tell her to Divorce Sameer Coz he is torturing her

2]or She will again suffer a miscarriage coz Sameer will find out she is working and this time she will divorce him and maybe RD and she will get married and she will bear his child

Chapter Nine

"Sanyukta Mittal," he repeated after her, still trying to grasp what had just come out of her mouth.

She looked down, an ashamed expression taking over her features as she nodded.

Could it be that she was Sameer Mittal's wife? He had been the CEO of the Mittal Empire before Randhir's empire had come and pushed it out of business straight to bankruptcy. But as far as Randhir knew, Sameer Mittal had a large amount of savings that would allow his family to live more than comfortably even after the crash of his business. So why was the man yesterday telling Sanyukta that the phone bill would cost too much? Why was Sanyukta taking an auto to work?

Something wasn't right here.

"Sameer Mittal's wife?" he asked. "CEO of Mittal Empire?"

She looked up at him, giving him a look which indicated that it wasn't his business, but she breathed sharply and answered.

"Yes," she told him, "But that doesn't concern you... if you're worried that I'm here to spy, then I assure you --"

"You don't need to make any assumptions," he told Sanyukta accusatorily. "I don't care about this business as much as I care about --" you, he wanted to say, but instead he said, "my employees."

She folded her arms stubbornly and glared at him.

"Can we get to work or do you have any more questions for me?" she asked him.

Randhir stood up and got a folder from his cabinet before placing it in front of Sanyukta.

"Go through this file, look over the finances and action plan then write down your thoughts on it and any changes you would make. Criticize it if you want and find as many inconsistencies as you can," he told her.

She looked confused for a second, as if a secretary didn't do this kind of job... and they didn't. A secretary wouldn't actually analyze business plans. But Randhir was giving her more salary than a secretarial position would make, so he was going to make sure that what his company was spending on her, would benefit it in the end.

"Okay," she said and stood up to leave.

"What are you doing?" he asked her, causing her to freeze.

"Going to work on what you asked me to work on," she told him.

"Work here under my guidance," he ordered. "Sit down."

She nodded and then sat back down on her seat before opening the folder and scanning through the contents of the report.

Randhir looked back at his laptop screen, seemingly immersed in his own work. Really, he was glancing back up over at Sanyukta over his screen. Something was wrong here. There was definitely a problem, and Randhir was going to find out what it was.

He needed to know what the cause of her sunken and hopeless eyes, her half-hearted smiles and her defensive nature over her personal life was. He had to get to the bottom of this... not because he wanted to interfere in her life, but because there was a part of him, a big part of him, that still cared about her.

The part of him that would go through any lengths to protect her from the harshness of the world hadn't ever disappeared.

He busied himself in his own work, and he didn't even realize that the next two hours passed. When he glanced up from his laptop, he saw that Sanyukta was writing notes on a lined sheet of paper, completely in another world.

Randhir felt himself smile, seeing her like that... it looked like she was so immersed in her work that she had completely forgotten about everything else. It looked like she was getting a high off working.

The same stress and worry that had reflected on her features this morning wasn't there anymore.

He picked up his phone and called the peon. "Bring two cups of tea to my room," he said softly into the phone, still glancing at Sanyukta.

It was as if she hadn't even heard him speak. She was completely focused on her work... and he was completely focused on her.
