Tapadiya Mai- Significance of her Garuda Chin. My take

Today it was shown the mark of Tapadiya Mai is on right leg. I was waiting to put this analysis after this was shown. So what does leg means. Leg has lot of meaning. It carries the whole weight of the body. It also denotes action as it helps you to move from one place to another and movement is what that enables completion of task. It is also the one that take mud, dust, unexpected injuries as you move around. Also note that there is mark only on one leg that means she is expected to do the work of both legs singlehandedly.

So what all this translate to. To me it translates to execution. If there is a plan and that plan has to become a reality it needs flawless execution. It needs to have a series of tasks that should be completed within the stipulated time, within the given constraints to attain the desirable result. Execution needs multi tasking. Single person has to handle lot of things.

To make matters clear I will compare it to project management. And Tapadiya Mai is the Project Manager of the mission. So what does the manager do. They put the right people for the right tasks. They track the activities. They anticipate the risk and make plans to manage them. They interact with customers, employees, senior management and take care of various expectations in such a way that the overall execution is not affected. Just like leg is the first place to get dust and mud they are the first ones to get the flak if something goes wrong. One wrong step by them can affect the overall project. In other words the project manager takes the whole burden of the successful implementation of the project. It is the PMs execution skills that finally makes a plan or a design a working reality. In other words they translate what is in the paper to the real world.

Note that one becomes a good project manager by experience and what is experience simply learnings from our past mistakes. Hence they have kept a very senior lady who has performed all roles in her life for this task. Mai has been a daughter, wife, mother and mother in law. She has suffered a lot in her life and is a treasure house of experience. The pains destiny gave her was for this task. The failures she had was for equipping her to do the flawless execution of the mission Amrit.
