First of all, the mindset amongst most of the indians that gujjus's are not fine academists is wrong, sab gujju baniye nahi hote and sab south indian padhakoo nahin hote, there are very prime examples of excellent south indian and maharastrain businesman and equally there prime examples of gujju scholars, so such thinking is absolutely not expected in 21st century for the least !!

well said ... perfect... tmkoc has stereotyped everyone ... southindians - idli ... bengali's - rasagulla and like that .. I know these are the main delicacies but ppl can eat other things too .. its not like only southindians eat idlis or only bengalis eat rasagulla .. everyone enjoys it ..

as for gujrathis ... i ve so many gujrathi friends and most of them are annoyed with how they are portrayed in serial ... one of my friend said , " yaar ye jitna garba ek hafte mein khelte hein hum pure saal mein nahi khelte "

Yeh serial dekh ke lagta hain ya nahi ki serial gujjus ko khush karne ke liye banayi gayi hain?

Aur point yeh hain ki even gujjus are not completely liking their own portrayal. Then what the hell is A Modi achieving by all this? Over hype is resulting into infact making gujjus a butt of jokes. He should tone down.

After almost 3 months I watched last 5 minutes yesterday. Did they actually end that scooter part with a garba? It was Bhide's scooter, wasnt it? Why would a Marathi family opt for a garba??

Not only is the serial over glorifying everything Gujju, but they are over-hyping Daya. From all the updates I read here a couple of days back. She is getting on everybody's nerves. Hence I feel the team knows all this is not palatable, and hence is only watched in Gujarat or interiors. This results in more stereotyping.🤢

Ah, forgot to add. When Madhavi reminded Bhide to take Champka's blessings before going to collect the number form showroom, he said " prasad liya hain toh Bhagwan ko kaise bhool sakta hun"?

Champak??? Bhagwan???🤣

This is gross over-glorification.
