stress and strain of shooting have often led to
great love stories in showbiz.
So it comes as no surprise that Ssharad Malhotraa,
who plays the title role in TV show Bharat Ka Veer
Putra " Maharana Pratap, has developed a deep
bonding with his latest co-actor. Only, the object of
his affection is a horse! He is so much in love with the
animal (who is seen as Chetak on the show) that he
intends to buy him.

Says Ssharad, "His name is Benhur, but I call him
Benny. Initially, he was snooty and it took me a week
to develop a bond with him. It seems horses
understand the language of touch, so I used to pat
Benny a lot and pamper him with jaggery, carrots and
biscuits; it was no less than wooing a girlfriend. I love
cowboy films and have always dreamt of owning a
horse. Pappu Verma is the owner and I will buy Benhur
after the show is over as currently he's in a contract
with the production house."

Ssharad says many people tried to dissuade him from
doing so, but he stuck to his ground. "Everyone
around me said it would be a big responsibility, but I
am game for it. My heart melts when Benny looks at
me. I feel unconditional love for him; it feels like we
have a cosmic connection. I already have a dog
Masakkali, and pets are great stress-busters," he
says. Ask him about Benny's diet and he replies, "His
diet and his monthly maintenance could easily amount
to anything between Rs 15000-20000. He is
shampooed and conditioned once a week and his shoe
gets changed in 15 days. I will keep him at the same
stable where he currently resides till I get a place of
my own."

i have always feeled that sharad doesn't love dt.. only dt loved him..bt iam great fan of Divyanka.. so i was happy that she is happy and its her decision bt now m happy dat she is no more wid him..bt sad also bt cause...really now i hate sharad he cheated.. i jst hate him..love DT.

I never wanted to see SM & DT together. I was just happy because she was happy with him. DT is a diamond. SM lost it.
