I think there are no better words to describe the situation Manik and Nandini are in. The line depicts HOPE in an otherwise hope-less situation. It depicts LOVE is an otherwise love-less situation. And that's the beauty of this line. And that is why it captures the beauty of Manik and Nandini.
It is only this ACTUAL fight that is going to bring them close. The Dhruv scenario was different cause they weren't entirely sure of what was going on. That made them realize and that's what got them closer.
This fight is not just going to make them stronger, it's going to make them a proper unit cause now it's official. Everyone knows.
And, like everyone says, distance makes the heart grow fonder. That's exactly what's happening.
It's easy to say I won't save you when you fall and I will enjoy it. But seeing it actually happen, your instinct makes you do what you REALLY want to do. And it happened twice. The water scene and today's pushing scene.
OH MY! Let me not get started on today. I have cried and how! I know a lot of people here do not connect with Mukti and Abhimanyu, but apart from MaNan, I really like these two together. He;s the person who's made Mukti feel so much. And I like that. Seeing MUKTI make Manik think by her words on LOVE is a huge growth. And I absolutely loved how she said that despite finding true love, I have no option but to let it go. And that made him think. And HOW! I love how Abhi told Nandini that he wants time. But has none. And that made her think. That she CANNOT let go of the one thing she has and now he has too - HOPE. But sadly in Mukti and Abhimanyu's case HOPE is the one thing they cannot afford to have. And that is effing heartbreaking.
Anyway coming back to the point, the way he said "How do you manage to come in front of me when I need you the most?" Paused and then added the and I dont' want you to. OH MY. That's where it came. BANG. Tera mujhe... Kar jaati hai dooriyan...'That's what made me realize just like it made them realize that it's exactly this distance that is going to make them come back. The distance is going to get the better of them. The distance is going to help them get back. It is needed.
And OH MY GOD! The "accidental kiss on the cheek". Hahaha I went mad. From being teary to blushing my guts off! And the above said line just played when he kissed her cheek galti se. The kiss happened and that's when it played "tera mujhe.. kar jaati hain dooriyan..." And connect it made, it made a home in my heart.
For me, these past two weeks (almost) have been the most beautiful ones of KY2. It shows the growth of the show, the characters and the bonds. It shows the connect between things so real so amazingly. And that's what matters the most. The connect. Despite not being in a relationship, MaNan's bond is what is growing. And it's getting nurtured. And it's gonna do us all good. Trust me.
