In a candid conversation with Hiten Tejwani

Veteran actor Hiten Tejwani is quite candid when he accepts that his role in Color's Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi so far has not been as much as he would wished for. " A number of factors could be responsible for the same. Firstly you know how tracks in TV develop and secondly I too was busy with my new & TV show Gangaa. But I am confident that over time my character will have meat." Hiten who entered this Balaji Telefilms production in October as Falguni's (Gauri Pradhan Tejwani) first husband Niten, "The show had began with her second husband who has since died and I have somehow come back into her life."

So is your character negative? "No people are speculating as to what his motives are but he is positive."Asked about how is to act again with wife Gauri "It is obviously easy as I know her very well. Plus the fact that we have worked together (Kkutumb and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) before makes the task of creating on screen chemistry less of a burden. Having said that we are actor's and it our job to get the correct emotions on screen. So we get comfortable even with new comer in a matter of days ."

But when you work together sometimes difference do crop up ? "Yes but then we are professionals who keep any creative issues restricted to set only. At home we are just husband and wife who love each other and our kids."

He is also quite happy with the ratings of Meri Aashiqui, "We are doing an average of 3 TVR which is quite good may be that also could be the reason why my character opening is up being delayed , why upset the apple cart?."

He also does not feel that he will have an issue dealing with two shows once Gangaa ges going full swing . "I agree normally it is a problem when you are dealing with different channels and production houses but , here I already have earmarked certain limited dates for Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi which have not been fully utilized till now. "
