Okies so watched the episode aaand I liked and disliked it at the same time. I guess maybe because it hasn't been shown in the actual episode yet, I'm not fully sure where this plot is heading. However, I totally agree that a jealousy track should be like the last resort CV's should be considering at this stage. We've seen they both love each other, in fact they've both even confessed it... but just not to each other. So really bringing in the idea of a love triangle is going to mess things up even more. I really want that it should be more of a slow and steady realisation of love between them not an abrupt one just because Manik feels jealous seeing Nandini with another guy. I rather have they fight and argue and quarrel and in between all these scenes their love is seen growing and Manik's heart is seen healing.

Shall reply to you soon my bus buddy ;)Okays so finallyyy I can return to my manan world. Thanks again as usual for mentioning and describing such moments that I never got down to doing. Lol I've started believing we're like two halves of the same heart too now ;) hahaI'm glad you brought up the scene of panditji, nyonijka and Manik. To some extent did you realise his adamancy fior being selected for the fusion concert. I mean for a second I thought Nyonika would back out and would just let it go when the panditiji said that she has no right to chose the second performer for the concert but our Manik baby didn't give up. He fought for that position because his so-called "hatred" for Nandini was far more than his annoyance with the panditji. The hatred that tells the story of his love. As they say, we tend to hate only those who we love unconditionally. His mind's motif may be to moment after moment, make Nandini realise of just how much pain he's capable of inflicting. But his inner-consciousness yearned for something else altogether. His nights had already become so dark, daunting and lonely. He couldn't stand the thought of having to spend his days without her presence either. He needed her around to stay calm. He needed her around to stay strong and sane He needed her around to stay alive. "Why can't I keep myself away from her?" "Why can't I send her away from my life?" "What's stopping me from moving on?" ... The concert is merely just an excuse to avoid answering such questions from the heart. His heart overpowers his mind, he knows that. But he's stubborn. Just like her.Good job partner for providing the reasons of Nandini's reluctance! Well said. Nandini can tolerate pain on herself, but she would never tolerate if Manik willingly or unwillingly hurts his music. He may not know himself, but she knows exactly the importance and value of music in his life. I had wirtten in some other post to that I'll rewrite here that she knows without music, he'll just be a hollow soul. Music is the reason he is able to feel emotions... it gave birth to his emotions for Nandini. It made him realise that no he can be Manik too. Just Manik. And so Nandini would never want that in his frustration for her, he ends up inflicting pain onto himself.Oh man how I just love those moments when he voices something to nandini in his rather mocking and sarcastic tone and she stands there in assurance that he in fact means the opposite. Our innocent Nandini doesn't realise that over time, our Manik has learned how to mask the meanings of his words too. He has a habit of wrapping his truthful words in the gift-wrap of lies and taunts and then he gifts them to her. It's so he doesn't instigate a further war-like atmosphere inside him; between the mind and the heart. That was such a beautiful scene too when he thanks her before he even fetches out the safety pins out of her bag. And the beauty of the scene was because unknowingly his mind just experienced another taste of defeat. He unknowingly told us the audience and Nandini herself that he knows her quite deeply himself. When she stood there confused as to what possibly could be in her bag that would be of assistance to him, he confidently searched the bag knowing that if she is the cause of the problem, the solution lays with her as well. That understanding he has of her was simply adoring.Dudee... you described that song sequence so thoroughly and with such precision yourself. You're absolutely right that though they didn't show, but as soon as he closed his eyes, the memories of their togetherness just flooded his eyes and his pain escalated to a new level. That transition of his panicking look when he doesn't find her straight away upon opening his eyes, to the relief his heart feels when he spots her in the corner of the room was so heartfelt. But then he spotted his tears and he once again went through a different intensity of pain altogether. The pain of knowing that he was the reason of those tears. He was the reason her heart wept. He was the reason her soul now stood alone. Just how godly and self-sacrificing his love his for her that upon seeing her pain, his heart tends to forget the miseries that he himself is experiencing. You know another thing I was thinking. So as we all know that the new battle we will soon be witnessing in the show has been titled "Hope vs Hatred". Where Nandini's hope has openly challenged Manik's hatred. But if we think about it, isn't it Manik himself who has given her the ray of hope? Isn't it he who has ignited that confidence once again that she is capable of winning his heart over? Isn't it he who has allowed her to re-step into his life, his bubble of space; in order to convince him that she is the one for him and he is the one for her. He has already bowed down to her in defeat before this battle has even begun. He has already started to trust her again. He has trusted her on that she won't let his hatred outwin her love. He has trusted her that she will be successful in healing his broken heart. He has trusted her that she will be the reason he listens to his heart one day. It's a rather complicated thought, I know.. just like our Manik but it's one which proves that he had never really stopped loving her, trusting her.Sorry Sorry Sorry for the lateness of this response! Hope you've been well otherwise :)Speak soon!Twinkie <3

As for your bit about Nandini's rather odd behavior... I would answer yes and no haha. The thing is that honestly speaking, I was a little disappointed myself when she questions Manik about his decision of joining the fusion concert. I mean we all thought she would be happy with this idea of having him around for the whole day as it would make her battle somewhat easier. But to our surprise, she behaved in a rather unexpected manner. It took me quite some time to figure out her state of mind. Just why was she pushing him away when he wanted to be around her for once? And then it all clicked. When it comes to manik's music... She can't take any risks. He might have promised her to always protect her but she's promised herself to always protect his music. She's the same Nandini who sacrificed her love when he was way too close from losing his hand. She's the same Nandini who happily resigned from the manager's post when her Romeo's career was in danger. She's the same Nandini who kept her lips sealed before his album performance, just so he could perform at his best. He is her biggest aspiration, and she knows his music is his biggest passion. She can't bear the absence of music from his life. She knows it would leave him matter-less. Just a quiet, hollow soul. His music is the root of his emotions. Nandini knew that if by chance he ends up hurting his music, his faith in life, in love would further shatter and then it would be absolutely impossible to sew those broken pieces together. As we've said before, no one knows Manik the way Nandini does. When his mind takes over, he loses the capability to think rationally. But Nandini can't allow him to deal with his music with such carelessness. If he has promised to protect her, she has vowed to protect his love, her love, their love. The love that originates from his music.

Okies..so thankfully we are both on the same page.
love triangle is such a old, tried and tested formula that i didn't expect the Cvs to go for it, not at this stage of Manan's relationship. it's too clinched for me.While jealousy can be a attractive trait to a certain extent, for a couple to know how much they mean to each other, that they don't like anyone's closeness with another person. i use this phrase: Love is close friends with jealousy. Jealousy may work but insecurity never works in a relationship.I would like to agree with you and hope that this track will lead to Manik's self- realisation that he does indeed need her more than he thinks he does. Now he fears losing her, how he can't bear to lose the light of his existence. But manik doesn't even need to worry. They should already be secure. They already mean the world to each other. Just because they are not 'together' doesn't mean they are apart from one another. Hence this love triangle won't work..I am also very iffy about the promo. Let's see how all this plays out. Maybe the Cvs will surprise us with something amazing.- Reya aka Sunny <3
DAY 8! - Miss Murthy vs Mr Malhotra!
Yes! I hate you! I do! Par... Pata nahi kyun tumse main... Door nahi reh pata..."
His loss of words again returned today to retell the story of his heart's dilemma. His fidgeting hands again returned today to recount for the ongoing war which was brawling inside him. His emotions-packed face was seen yet again today to unfold some of the truths he was unaware of himself. He looked at her, then looked away. He reached out for her, then pulled away. He shouted at her, then softened away. "I can't live with you. No!" Just how hard he was trying to convince himself with the use of these mere words that she was of no importance to him now. How difficult was the struggle to mask that pain-filled look which would reveal his true secrets to her if by chance he let the heart win over the mind even for a quick second. But as they say, whatever is bound to happen, will happen. And so his mask flew off. No longer could he conceal the truth of his heart, of his soul. His eyes which never failed to speak anything but the truth, voiced his truth again. They studied each inch of her face as if they hadn't seen her for years. His agonized eyes and bleeding heart found solace as they accepted, expressed and declared the most truthfu truth of his life; "But I can't live without you!"
If it was only in the hands of the heart, he would've cried and cradled her in his arms and whispered his truth to her in such a way that his voice's echo would remain in her blood, her heart, her mind, her soul for the forever number of years of their togetherness. But his mind still held a firm grip on him. He held her close to him, but with a fine line of railing between the two. He gifted her his heart's honesty, but within seconds, he challenged the notion of their reunion. It was already too late though. What Nandini's heart had been yearning to hear had finally come into revelation. Now there was no turning back. It was either a do or die situation. She knew life without him was one she couldn't imagine. She knew his absence would mean that there remains no other meaning to her life, her existence, her identity. She knew that if she lost him this time, she would lose herself in this world that was almost a stranger to her if he wasn't beside her. "So it means there's hope..." The sparkle in her eyes returned today. The sparkle which could light up his whole world. It was almost as if she has just learnt how to breathe again. The hope of eradicating all traces of pain from his heart was still existing. The hope of making him believe in love, in his Nandini, was still breathing. The hope of rescuing him from this never-ending darkness was still shining. The hope of motivating him to give into his heart and ignore the mind altogether was still alive. He tried his best to set that hope ablaze with his anger, aggression and so-called "hatred", but she knew he was hiding again. Hiding behind that mask which was full of tears, rips, breaks and holes. The tighter he tried to grab onto the mask, the more it tore and the easier it became for her to see right through him. Oh just how innocently my Manik tries to portray his anger again in order to convince her that there is a better chance of him not being able to live with her than without her. How hard he tries to struggle with his heart because he wants her to try and believe, he wants her to believe that he's capable of being a monster, he's capable of hating her, and he's capable of maintaining his distance.
It was exceptional to see how Nandini's confidence and willpower was once again restored after some quality talking time. No longer do they need the feel to say "let's take a break" because they are starting to understand the need of each other in order to share the inner-sentiments that are complicating the heart more and more. They are starting to understand that sharing pain doesn't necessarily increase pain, it halves the amount of pain rather. I feel as though, time after time, whenever Nandini feels her confidence levels to be shaking a little, Manik's unnoticed and rather impromptu entry always does the magic of restoring and strengthening that confidence. Quite ironic how he himself came as a ray of hope for her in order to talk to her about the hope of them being together.
For them it may seem to be the battle of Hope vs Hatred, but little do they know that neither is there room for any hatred in this relationship, nor is there room for any hope. Neither has he stopped loving her, in order to begin hating her nor has she lost her faith in him, in order to be depend on hope now. In fact his hatred is in actual the love that he realizes upon seeing her smile, it's the pain he feels when he sees her crying, it's the need he feels of her to be constantly around him. Similarly, her hope is in fact her promise of always shining for him. Her hope is in fact her blind faith in him of never hurting her and always protecting her. Her hope is in fact her lifelong allowance of only giving him the right to make her laugh, cry, angry, sad and all the other emotions that she's capable of experiencing.
Now moving onto Manan's training session towards the end of the episode. Oh how just how my Manik couldn't stand the idea of Nandini agreeing with Panditji over him. Yes it may be the start of a jealousy track which I was praying it shall not be incorporated, but I personally liked the scene because in moments like these, his frustration drives him to unknowingly listen to the heart.
"And I can't believe tum itni badi chamchi ho us pandit ki"
"Main panditji ki chamchi nahin hoon. It's just that he's right"
Oh if only Nandini had been facing him and seen the way he silently mocks her when she claims the panditji to be right, would she have realised just how irritated he gets on hearing her praise someone other than him. If only she would have noticed the way he annoyingly shakes his head and walks into the change room without letting her finish off her sentence, she would have realised how he can't even bear to have her thinking about someone else other than him.
The battle of his mind and heart didn't come to a halt till the very last scene of today's episode. His heart realised her need of an immediate drink, but his mind was in the mood to play games today. He claimed that he would cover up for her, protect her... like he always does. It's what my manik is known for. But the mind soon conspired and he no longer was in the mood to be "good". He wanted to pay her back for cutting his guitar's strap. He wanted to suppress the seed of confidence that he had himself implanted inside her. He wanted to interrupt the impression being formed by the panditji of Nandini being the traditional, hard-work, focused and mannered student. He wanted to be the reasons of her sorrow, of her pain, of her tears of her miseries...Because somewhere deep inside him his heart and mind both knew that she belonged only to him. He knew that she knew that only he has the right to make her happy, smile, laugh. But he wanted to make her realise that even if it's pain, only he's allowed to inflict in upon her.
For some reason, I also quite liked the scene of Mukti and Navya's bonding in today's episode. Maybe because it was showing the positive change in Mukti's character? The change of realizing the value of life, of love, of happiness? Or maybe it was the growing maturity and strength in Navya's character? Or maybe it was just the mutual understanding they have for each other despite their initial differences? Whatever it may be, I feel it was a rather pleasant scene to watch seeing those girls bond. Where once Mukti used to freely share all her thoughts with Aliya, she has seemed to find a similar companion and listener in Navya's friendship. Hence, she is able to slowly and maturely able to accept and understand Manan's relationship.
Okay so as usual, I got carried away with my emotions and again another essay has been posted. Sorry for having to read so much :P
Hope you guys all enjoyed the episode!
Stay smiling :)

Hola my girl..well Monday is finally here. Today's episode was a good set up episode for the rest of the week. The jealously has apparently kick started. And may god save Manik and the viewers...i am so ready :P
I gotta admit, the mind had a strong finish today not that the heart wasn't there putting a strong fight as well but let us explore today's scenes.I absolutely loved how Manan came to the same place: their meeting place, their staircase for solitude. It's their place of memories, of their budding love, a place of happier times. In past when they were coming together, they met on the same side of the staircase. Today they met with on opposite sides, with the railing in between. While they are walking separately, there are still so strongly bonded. Their bodies still touch through the barrier of the railing. Very soon, they will be once again of the same side of the staircase.
He claims he can't live with her but makes a bigger declaration: He can't live without her. This is the biggest truth of his life, it even trumps his love realisation. because love may change, we can learn not to love someone but the need for a person to survive, that's lifelong. He can't live without her: the heart contradicts his mind that so confidently says: I can't live you claims Manik Maltorta, so he doesn't need his light to survive. Oh the struggle is so real. The way he clenches his fists, it's not in anger. It's in constraint because he is dying to touch her, to pull her into his arms..to give his damn heart some much needed relief. The tug of Nandini's arms, the pull. the push he does so often nowadays speaks of his struggle. He needs her close but he can't, he can't let her close because they are at battle now. His hatred and her hope. Oh my hopeless babies. I already said that there is no hate. There is no hate for Manik baba. Hate is such a strong emotion and because there is a fine line between love and hate, I believe you can only feel one or other at a time.. and honestly it's so hard to come back from hate. To relearn to love someone after you hate them: doesn't happen often in life and that's the truth. he is only capable of feeling love for this girl. She is his shining star after all. she is still fighting the darkness for him. She is still fighting for that smile of his she loves.
And even today, he guides her. Music is his reason for smiling. Nope Manik, nandini is your reason for smiling but no worries, i let you get away with this one. Music soothes him, heals him and when does Manik make his best music ? Well, he does it with his lucky charm. Like you had said in a post: she is the lyrics to his music. There is hope if there are able to sing together after 10 days. Well good job boy, give your girl all you can. Tell her to fight to be his music again.
Another very significant scene for me today was Manik simply telling Fab 4 that he is going solo to perform with Nandu for the fusion concert. Once again, Nandini takes priority over Fab 5. Manik is done playing mother hen to these 4. While he will still be there when they need him, he has other priorities, along the lines of making a certain someone 'suffer'. It's sad how his friends believe that he will mess with his music just to mess with Nandini. Manik respects his music far too much to use it a weapon in their battle. Mukti says: isn't he taking it too far with Nandini ? and he replies honestly: He is gone too far with Nandini. Truer words have never been spoken. Yes, he is gone too far, too far in love with her to ever walk away ( please note, even today Nandu walks away both times. I told you, my MM doesn't do the walking away in their relationship..lol) Only my Cabs knows the magnitude of their love and he is always freaking honest. Love this statement: if Nandini is around, Manik is bound to be close..lol.
Oh oh..i almost forgot to talk about face value scene. Manik is forever helping his girl, no, not by giving her water but teaching her another lesson. He knows she is still innocent, still too naive. So he decides to teach her a lesson and get some payback ( yeah, he still remembers that she cut his guitar strap) Manik says don't take everything at face value, don't believe everything someone says. He is referring to their earlier conversations. A part of him is hurt that she still trusts him so that she believes that he means it when he says he will make her suffer. ( just like at musicana time: he asked himself: How could she just believe me ? How could she believe that he meant to hurt her ?) He has mocking, sarcastic way of himself where he coats the turth as underlayer and tends to be sarcastic most of the time just like he sarcastically mocks her and her hope near the end of the episode . nandini is only human too, while she uses sees through him most of the time, past his smug, badass persona; once a while she doesn't read him as well. But the water prank is gonna come back to haunt him when someone else catches his girl. He promised once: I will always catch you when you fall and now he won't. Let that burn a little Manik, it's meant to.
I also quite like the budding friendship between Mukti and Navs. friendship equations are changing and i am glad Fab 5 are finding friendship outside their group. New people, new friendships, they expand our horizons, give us new perception. So Navya is good support for Mukti's character and plus Abhi has brought a huge change in her life. Life suddenly becomes much more clear when you are falling in love with a person who is on limited time ( imagine that: limited time to love someone, so utterly devasting) and i am still baffled at her immaturity to understand Manan's love for each other but i got hope for the girl. It's Alya i have no hope for..lol.
Okies, i think i am done. Awesomely written as always my love. You the star :D
Edited: wait wait, hold the reply train please ! even thou you aren't replying yet..lol. Reya forgot her beautiful moment. I always have one. Will guess mine ? It's when he tells; " i can't live without you !" how he tries so desperately but he can't stay away from her. Oh all that love laced with pain, frustration and agony. Every mask he ever wore shed when he made that declaration. Such love, such beauty.
Love as always,
- Reya aka Sunny <3
well yeh tbh her mindset did seem a little blurred and even in today's episode I just felt she was being a little too harsh maybe when she said she didn't want him to get selected. But I guess good thing for Manan and us that the story has taken an interesting and definitely an exciting twist with her battle of making this performance happen and his battle of trying to break this performance. And obviously in amidst of all this there will be a lot of Manan cuteness with their quarreling and ofc some blooming romance too! HahaOriginally posted by: anotheranfan
Hmm.. It was very hard for me to see and understand nandini when she was angry but reading your thoughts help a little bit... So more than anything she doesn't want maanik to be part of this just to torture her or be with her? But isn't the concert a big thing and its a fusion thing, so they do need someone with western and who is better at that in SPACE than our own Maanik.. So i still have hard time with grasping her thoughts on it... Many a times i like to see those Story so far episodes because there is bg narration that helps but this week's episode is not yet uploaded.. So lets see.. For my piece of mind i am going to give in to your explanation :)Looking fwd to this week of manan madness :)
