In recent times, two actresses who have changed the face of Hindi cinema are Vidya Balan and Kangana Ranaut. Both of them have proved that women-oriented films can rule the box office with ease. Balan's 'Ishqiya', 'Kahaani' and 'The Dirty Picture' broke many records at the box office and a new genre was born. Similarly, Ranaut's 'Queen' was not only appreciated by the audience but also did good business at the ticket counter. Many other actresses started following in their footsteps and the industry is now open to more women-oriented films.
But come June 12, 2015 and we will see both actresses clash with each other at the box office. 'Humari Adhuri Kahani' featuring Balan will clash with 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' featuring Ranaut. Which film will break records or will both films enjoy a good run at the box office? Well, we will just have to wait for D-Day.
