There was no need of Nandini kidnap track and reviving BV theme. Since makers claim to show Anandi in a different light post Shiv's death, then Nandini's kidnap, Anandi's vulnerability or Anandi's return to BH does not justify it.What would have been more appealing is that Anandi finds a positive and exciting reason to stay back in KB / Udaipur, while the entire family shifts to Singapore. For example, Anandi being felicitated by CM or someone to work for a bigger social cause for the state / country, based on her previous achievements. Make it sound like this is the life-time opportunity for Anandi to do something for her country and that's why Anandi chooses her career (the bigger cause) over moving with the family to Singapore.At the same time, they could show how Anandi raises her 3 kids, balances her work, supports a bigger national project and yet provides the independence, depth and love to her kids that their father would have provided to them.That would have been A's empowerment in true sense. They could have shown multiple challenges faced by a single mother and goal oriented woman through Anandi.And DSa, Khajan, JaGan could have always acted as her support system time and again. That too would have reflected kacchi umar ke pakke rishtey (without necessarily staying in the same roof)Also, if we thoroughly look through the show Anandi has spent same number of years with her parents as she did with Singhs, so why are her rishtey only pakke with Singhs and not with her own father.Ideal combination would have been Khajan staying with Anandi in KB or farm house, providing her the required moral support and helping A in raising her kids, while Anandi struggles to make a difference in the life of society (through SMART goals) as well as in her kids.------The point is that we can say what we want but makers will only want to cash on A's tears. hence they keep showing Anandi's majbooris and her poor fate. Otherwise it is not so difficult to fight these majbooris.
I didn't have problem with the kidnap track per se .Because that would have made for a great track on it's own serving as wake up call for Anandi. Her balancing her responsibilities towards her kids and her social commitments which she strongly believes in.
Nandini could have been found just like Amol was found.When Amol was kidnapped as a result of her attacking that beggar mafia Shiv was there and now with Shiv not being there she would have realised that she would have to rescue her baby all alone and somehow would have found enough resources with in her and gotten her back.
But instead using that kidnap track to make her stronger they made her weak.
Anandi working on Bhaili taking care of her kids and still committed to standing up for injustices against the weak and defenceless despite her life and the safety of her children facing threats by disgruntled anti social elements and her learning how to handle this threats and yet to continue with what she had been doing would have made for a great track.
I am all for Shekhar family problems being fixed and them being packed off because they didn't add to the story in any way.
Dsa droppin in on her every now and then and she visiting BH with her kids could have been a big enough support system for her.
Even if they wanted to shift her to Jaitser why BH? Why can't she live there on her own with almost day to day interaction with Dsa and JG?
Both Anandi and Ganga could have taken turns to baby sit for their children just like most of working mothers and single mothers do
All this could have been covered under kacchi umar ke pakke rishte too.
Why weaken a woman who was doing well for herself on her own and make her feel helpless and useless in order to make her take help from Dsa?
