There was one hindi Movie Izazaat perhaps made by Gulzar with Rekha , Nasirudin Shah and Anuradha patel . Beautiful movie with lovely songs where this kind of topic was dealt . Here i find the same maturity in the characters . I really feel what we had in substantial movies , that is shown i Pak dramas . Just when Shabana , smita , Rekha and other were there . Sanam Saeed i find in that category .

Now dat u mentioned der is also a slight similarity between Gulzar's movie Ijaazat and this drama and yeah both have been handled with a lot of maturity. Also I loved the songs of the movie and in fact am a fan of movies made by Gulzar.

And u just can't resist taking Sanam Saeed's name whenever u mention Shabana, Smita, Tabu nd the rest, can u?

BTW Seep is an Indian actor and her real name is Deepti Gupta.😳

I know and she is from US and is indian . From mine community 😊 . Quite talented one
Now we do not have those kind of directors and nor the stories nor actors . Yes Sanam just reminds me of her . Konkana sen , Nandita Das and few are in that league .

Such a lovely and heart touching ending to a beautiful show. Missed many epis., but still it was one of the shows that caught my attention.

Anyways can someone tell me how did Paras become paralyzed nd return to her husband ? I missed that epi. Just watched that epi where her husband divorces her.😕

Yes Deepti is a very good actor and it's very surprising to watch an Indian in a Pak play, but I am glad she does Pak dramas, coz she has done some lovely roles, which Indian actors don't get. Watched few episodes of Malaal, hope tocomplete it soon.

first of all i dont understand why the channel is changing original names of dramas its confusing sometimes
as for this play when i read the title in the post ithought it was ijazzat staring ayesha, humayun and resham but a few days back when i saw the glimpse of the drama i was like ohh this is ishq junoon dewangi.
this play was a mega starrer and we hardly saw adnan in a greyish or negtive role so it was good and this play was one of the mature play i ever watched

at first i found Ijaazat a bit confusing but the ending explained everything
Seep was a girl but soft heart but strong willpower...she truely loved Sahil with her heart so could not forget him despite everything but she was not ready to compromise on her dignity n faith for sake of tht love...Sahil's death made her move on from tht love completely n accept Behram without any past to look back to.
what i liked about the story was Sahil got his deserved punishment...i used to tell my mom while watching the show that had Sahil been in indian t.v serial he would have already got a new girl, married n have kids...its not bad to move on but for once its good to see a man suffering for his wrong than a woman cry for years for that man n even refuse to move on with new good guy without makung much drama of it...Seep moved on with Behram on her own wish and she didn't make a drama out of it as if it was Behram who asked her to marry...unfortunately same cannot be said about our female characters...they love to put blame on new male lead as if begged her to marry him 😡
