Vishal is one person who has is own opinion and more importantly he stands by it. He dosen't modify his comments after to please the of other co-guru's. Like when Kapil said about one of the contestants sang a particular song, "the josh required for the song was missing", while all other guru's fine tuned teir remarks to match what kapil said, Vishal was firm on saying that this type of song dosen't require the josh element.👏

Last saturday he proved again by contradicting Himesh's comment saying, love story yes or no love story as long as its outside the stage & everyone is concentrating on singing perfectly that's what matters... 👍🏼

I agree!! i was really mad when Kapil said dat bout Junaid's performance..i thought his performance wus faboulous!!!but i wus even more shocked when all da guru's started agreeing w/ Kapil..and den at da end Vishal took a stand n said dat dis particular song didn't required josh i wus happy!!!😊😊

yea i wus glad he said dat!! i wus gettin fed up of Himesh's imaginary triangle luv story!!

so far Vishal n shekhar r da best judges in dis show..( w/ da exception of Mouli's case ofcourse...i dunno wut's up w/ dat but she's got all da judges praising her..) no offense mouli fans!!

I agree..I was gunna strt a topic like this...I think its so stupid for the mentors to be so involved in the contestants "personal life"..i mean jst stick to their singing!!!! PLus..i think this triangle thing is just for higher trps!! 😆 I was happy wen vishal said love story or not or wat evr he said 👏 ..lol

I really liked him on the last episode coz he was too the point and also tried to indicate to Raja about singing diff songs. I hope he continues to be on the right track and not be partial towards Mauli (Bappi hai us kaam ke liye)

I don't know if he is a good mentor if he keeps clapping for mauli. Did anyone notice, Vishal used to give his comments during the first 2 months of this contest and Shekhar used to nod his head. But after the Megan episode, Shekhar seems to have become more confident of speaking and gives points and comments to all contestants and Vishal looks on... But I think Shekhar is a little biased with Mauli. He kept arguing with ID over Sumedha, but ID put him in his place when he said everyone's sur is 19/20... so I think the admiration seems to have gone to his head, hope he comes down to earth and truly becomes a judge. For that matter, hope everyone (Bhappi pls. listen) becomes a true judge and keeps the maryada of the word "Judge". The comments that seem to be spouting out these days, doesn't commend their judgement.

The only judge's comments worth listening too is Vishal-Shekhar. They are the best part of C2007 👏

^^agree with you jugalbaj!! I feel that all the judges at this stage are unbelievable...sur, taal, and versitility have no meaning when it comes to Mauli!! I don't blame Bhappi so much as the other mentors cause Bhappi obviously wants his gharana to win!! Imagine the injustice of the highest order against Musarat...he gets 29 for his EXCELLENT rendition of Afreen Afreen...yet the screeching screaming miss maiyya maiyya gets 30 from everyone without any iffs ands butts!! Poor poor Junaid...he was excellent yet he gets low points!! The show is a disgrace...the mentors should be ashamed of themselves!!

I still respect Vishal (and Shekar of course) more than the rest of those drama queens. Okay, he winked at her. Maybe he was bored. It is not like he said she is a top contender. He could have winked because he was like this is not a performance that is worthy of this competition. Okay, that is far fetched. But that is one aberration in his behavior. Overall he is pretty balanced.
