None correct. And here I was thinking this riddle was the easiest yet! 😆

Well here's a hint since you all think it is confusing!

Sirius is not the answer,but he is mentioned in the riddle

Explanation for my last riddle

Pleasant to see,

It reflects our deepest desire, so it is pleasant to see

Not truth, nor lie,

A desire cannot be called truth or lie

The protection hardest to pass am I,

It was the final and strongest protection for the Philosopher's Stone

Different to all, yet same in essence,

Everyone sees different things, as their deepest desires are different, but they all see their desire

Unaffected is but really rare,

A person who doesn't have any desire is extremely rare

Pass my trick and tell me, who am I?

Explanation.

I may not be known for my looks,

But I'm as smart as it can get.

Crookshanks wasn't very pleasing in appearance .He had a squashed head and his face looked as if he had run headlong into a brick wall.

Once I was tagged evil,

For seeing right through a bad guy.

Ron tagged him evil for hunting down Scabbers who in reality was Peter Pettigrew in disguise

I befriended one when no one else dared,

And helped him accomplish his many endeavors

He became friends with Sirius in his Animagus form.He also helped him in getting into the castle and meeting with Harry later.

When confusions and misunderstandings passed,

Praises, I received in plenty.

When confusions regarding Sirius and Pettigew were steered clear,everybody including Ron praised Crookshanks his smartness.
