well abhay , I really dint like dez insects thg ...but Noe other choice ...jus ignoring ...

d track is interesting bt m nt able 2 digest dis insect theory I mean as u said evn I hd a feeling dat d poping of insects frm d earth it solely means dat all those enemies whch were hiding out in der shells hav cum out all of a sudden 2 attck or revolt angst Akbar tkin d advtnge of d situatn in whch Akbar is in as of nw bt here dey hav literary shwn insects crawling out of d earth n biting jallal quiet weird I thnk dey r 2 much dramatizing by showing jodha suddenly out of blue having super natural powers dat her each and evry dream is cumin true I really thnk dey shold tone down d overhyping of d evnts and show dm lil subtle and sensible otherwise I dnt thnk der is ny prob wid d track 😛

I agree watching the show again for many is not easy again especially with Ruqs presence.
But i think till the time, we do not have Ruqs you can give this a try.
Its your decision. If you feel watch it.

For me, i like this track. Yes, we need improvement in story line and balance in characterisation. Lets see, it will take time.

The grace by CV's is NO Ruqayya scenes and no Salim Anarkali(SA) story. That is a major reason i want this track to succeed as i can not watch SA back and grabbing the screen space.

Damage of 2-3 months can not be undone in 2-3 days, makers know this thing. It s a bit long process. I am not able to get the significance of this insect theory completely. Yesterday i thought this means that Jalal's enemies are popping up one after another.

But today Jalal getting infected by it was unrealistic..Though, in opinion of a friend, this is a symbolic twist to the story to show that human is helpless before Almighty, no matter how strong one is, he/she can not confront the wrath of that supreme soul who watches all of us. The CV's could have thought of a better "symbolism" if that was their motive, but anyways i am not talking about that.

The motive of this post is BASICALLY to mention a political development , as i try to keep track of such minute happenings -> Jalal announced in the DEK that the forces in Gujarat & Bengal are getting weakened(?) and they need re-enforcements. This is TRUE...

As i said earlier, CV's are doing some digging from history books, but they have botched up the timelines, while taking this "back leap" .!

Motive of this post is only to tell the political development amidst some "supernatural happenings" going on in the show.! The track is fine and important also but if the CV's tone down this melodrama and supernatural premonitions "a bit", the track can be enjoyed more. Only thing i want is a sensible and balanced portrayal of both Jodha and Akbar. Barring the "insect theory" it was ok.!

So, what are your thoughts ?

Sorry Abhay, I just can't seem to motivate myself to watch the show again. Salim calling Ruk ammijaan is enough to upset me for days. It is better for my health not to watch. I have responded on Radhika's thread about why I cannot watch again. You know how dear the history of Akbar/ MUZ is to me and I cannot forgive the insults heaped on this couple by the writers of this show. I do not think even the cast and writers believe in their own show and are just following a mindless trp game. The Shaurya Singh twitter fiasco was an ultimate insult. And that he got to keep his job after undermining the main character of the show MUZ shows how much the producers of this show care...utterly tasteless and crude. sorry abhay my rant has no connection to your post . I agree with your view. The depiction is not realistic. But that is the UN-written rule of almost all the shows. Last night in another TV show featuring Akbar they have shown monkeys attacking Akbar's palace, and the lesson was --> Human is helpless before the will of God.

Same thing is happening in our show also. They want to show no one can resist the Almighty, hence these insects. The thing is too much dramatization, which will tone down slowly only. Yes, this is lack of ideas on part of the writers. It could have been something else. For example : Spread of a disease, could have been shown instead of insects.

When we could bear the COMPLETELY UNREALISTIC portrayal of Vishkanya then this is nothing compared to that. I also made an update on Vishkanya where i said VK's were NOT like what Jodha Akbar has shown to us. They were some thing different.. In that comparison, present track is perhaps OKayish.

What i feel is that, more than the present track, it is the issue of Ruqs which is creating problems and making many stop/not watch the show. I would say that, try to view Ruqs and present track separately, Ruqs is NO where in present track. Hence, it is not required to think about her, in my opinion.

Try to view this as a separate track, this is what i am doing. For me Ruqs is not the concern as she has no role to play in this track at least till now. I also want her mis deeds to come out, but that not happening does not stops me from watching JA, in this track where i have no Ruqs. :)

This track has brought many members back to the forum, and i can see the LIKING of this track going up on Twitter as well. :)

Preet, agree with every word U said...The above mentioned are still my issues too. I am still watching because its JJ centric, loving the bond shared between JJ, and I cant tell you how relieved I am by not seeing Ruks face. If not each and every episode I am waiting when to FF or mute as I cant take her anymore..

They don't have a choice. No one is interested in LOONG scenes of Ruqs and Salim-Anarkali.
They have probably learnt this, and today the U-turn of tweets which that writer made was hilarious. Means -> Pressure works. :-P

As i said on page-2 in my long post here, we always had some unrealistic things in JA, insects in this track is nothing new.
