Jodha Akbar: For better or for worse!

SOUL TALK:

Jalal: "Those days were passing and it was getting WORST, my own people were drifting away from me, those were WORST DAYS".

Jodha: "Jalal you were my everything, you were my life line and you were going on wrong path, I didn't know how to change your thinking, I couldn't do anything but to see your changing, the KING who used to listen to all his ministers, his subjects would now insult them, started to rule' them, you were completely changed as if you were not your real self and I didn't know what to do".

In all relations marriage is the most honorable but also the most challenging and sacrificing. It is summarized by most people in this phrase "for better or for worse" The longevity and the quality of a marriage or relation depends upon it!

Jodha and Akbar have been gong through this journey of "love" and have been through all the phases of "better" and have found respect, love, trust, faith and hope in each other even in such a complex marriage' through these year. However there is a new phase both have to face for a while now in their journey the "worse" and both have to cross this phase to make this journey meaningful that both could cherish and hold dear to their hearts forever.

In this phase "commitment" is the precious commodity which is needed.

TYPES OF LOVE IN ALL RELATIONSHIPS:

Storge: A general love of natural affection.

Eros: A physical attraction of passion, a self-centered love seeking pleasure and satisfaction.

Phileo: A love of friendship and companionship.

All the above types of love have one thing in common" if circumstances change love might change and fade away.

Agape: Is the love of choice and commitment which is not dependent on the qualities of the one loved, or even on circumstances.

Commitment is a mindset, an attitude, a way of thinking that will enable spouses to navigate through the storms and still waters of a marriage relationship. It is especially important when married couples face the inevitable conflicts that come their way (or for that matter any relationship).

This is another stage of the journey of Jodha and Akbar! Will they be able to overcome and crossover this dreadful storm in their life and still has each other's love?

" A marriage takes longer than one plan, costs more than one can figure out, messier than you can anticipate and it requires greater determination than you could expect and sometimes the only thing that keeps it going is CHOICE AND COMMITMENT"

what a thoughtful post! could not help praising it! i am liking jodha's characterization for a change, never liked the lecture type or teacher type conditional love from jodha's side which seemed fragile and on the verge of breaking that is if jalal doesn't abide by her rules she will run away to amer but now i see a matured wife who stands by her husband through thick and thin..and argues with him in a mature way and not lecture him and i am enjoying this type of relation between them..she is not yes sir but arguing and putting her thoughts across..but jalal's 180 degree turn will again make him stand crying buckets after he realizes what he has done..uff i hate cvz for doing this to akbar but then that is what trp janta likes and i want trps to increase for the hard work the actors are putting in!

@bold: I dont think this will happen Mandy. He will apologize, but no more crying. at least this is what i am thinking and expecting...JJ are past that stage..

As u said, I am happy as this is now more focused on JJ.

I guess cv team had a concept in mind and saw each character as evolving with time by going through circumstances, trails etc. and eventually reach where there is some sort of perfection and maturity with regards to relations and their duty to serve as a King and a Queen with love, respect and dignity.

It is written that "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things".

I guess we the fans were the impatient ones trying to get ahead and scape the stages of the journey and were not ready for anyone to take their place in our hearts either.😆

Am sure Jalal will pass through this stage which is very much necessary to also reach maturity and perfection.😃

Jodha might have gone through hers when she became a mother and went through different kinds of pain and disappointment. Motherhood do has the ability to change a young woman into a matured leveled headed woman as it involves a lot of physical and spiritual changes. Also circumstances beyond the control of a man do have the ability to mature him and make him understand he might be the head of the house but he also does have a head that oversee his authority.

So sit tight Jalal would reach there eventually.😳
