Bombay Velvet, Fitoor Music Album are my best works: Amit

Amit Trivedi, Music Director of Ranbir Kapoor's Bombay Velvet and Katrina Kaif's Fitoor says that the two albums are his best works till date as music director till date surpassing Dev D

When asked whether songs made in the show can ever be sold commercially, since unlike the West, India isn't too keen about an independent pop industry, Amit says, "See it takes time. When a new property takes birth, one has to build and nurture it. It's a parallel industry because Bollywood has the maximum stake and a lot of people listen to Bollywood music. So here we are planning to create an independent scenario, where you are away from Bollywood.

There is no Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan or Aamir Khan lip-syncing my songs but it's only our expressions, our music and what we want to say to the audience. So Coke Studio @ MTV is giving face to the artist and freedom of expression."While Amit is composing music for several upcoming Bollywood films, choosing his favourites, Amit says, "Bombay Velvet and Fitoor, I think they some of my best work so far. In fact, for me it surpasses Dev D." says Amit Trivedi
