reading lyrics

why these singers have lyrics written like junaid read from hand and even raja did it, i think it shouldnt be allowed, it creates such a bad impression! do you agree?

yea, but now they can't always remember it... any one easily forget what there about to sing when there performing.. do you know how hard it is to perform on a stage?

no not necessarily sometimes its really tough to remember all the lyrics by heart...and many playback singers also tend to write their songs on their hands or even carry a diary with the lyrics written in it and sing from it live...ive seen lata ji doing this in a live show...so its not bad at all as long as ur singing with the right sur, taal and giving a unique feel to the song....plus with all the nerves and pressure they could end up forgettin their lyrics which is i guess even worse...
vishal said that all playback singers tend to make mistakes and are bulakkads...so its not their fault either...they're not even established as yet...

i think if u are going to read the lyrics you should have the paper on the stand in front of u, like i remember sometimes debo used to do it in C05....instead of trying to hide it...

I think raunaq reading lyrics should be OK as in practical world they are provided lyrics & can't remember all, so as long as they sing good that's all should matter in my opinion..

yeah but theres more focus on performing these days that i dont know if the directors would like them to have a stand infront of them

it's a singing competition not a memory competition,

all playback singers get written lyrics right in front of them while they sing, and in live performance the biggest singers forget their lyrics that doesn't make them any less of a singer...

it doesn't matter if they remember the lyrics or not

I agree with you strongly lata always keeps her diary with lyrics in front of her at her all performances does that make her any less of a singer😕

that reminds me even I have seen sonu nigam reading lyrics from his hand in the live performance😳

even if lyrics are allowed why dont they keep a stand, it looks so horrible that they read from hand 😆 😆 😆
