Arase Serial Quiz

This is the "Arase" serial quiz that I mentioned earlier in the updates thread. I know the rules are quite long, but I just want to make sure everything's clear, ok? 😉

The quiz consists of twelve questions, arranged according to level of difficulty, i.e. beginning with the easiest and ending with the hardest. Some questions require two answers (e.g. Questions 2, 3 and 6) therefore they carry an extra mark.

You will need to PM your entries to me ( selvifanmsia ). Posting any answers here will automatically disqualify you from running. You may, however, use this thread to raise anything you're uncertain about, as long as it does not give away the answer.

Each participant can send in ONE answer script only (that is, one set of answers to each of the questions here). You should give the question number, followed by the answer. There is no need to copy the questions. Short answers will suffice. If you don't know the answer to one of the questions, just make a guess or skip the question. No marks are deducted for wrong answers, so guess away!

The winner will be the person with the most number of correct answers OR the first person to send in an entry with all correct answers.

So hurry and get your answers in by the EXTENDED deadline : Friday, 31 August 2007. The name of the winner, along with two runners-up, will be announced the following day. I will also publish the complete answer scheme in this thread.

Now let's find out who the ultimate "Arase" fan is! 😉

( Bonus mark if you can give both mother and father's names ) Senthamizharase's team investigating the duplicate-drugs case consisted of Vasanthi, Sivakumar (who was killed by Nallathamby) and two more policemen. Give the names of these two. Venu Arvind's character in this serial is nicknamed GJ. The "J" stands for Jaydev. What does the "G" stand for? What was the type of business originally run by GJ? What is the name of the character played by Anju in this serial? This actress previously appeared in a negative role in "Metti Oli". Now she plays a similar role in "Arase". What is the name of her character in "Arase"? What was the original name of Ganga? (when she was still a he, not the actor's name)
