The star of Gala 8

I think the star of the show today was Sonu Nigam.😊 The only disappointment was that he didn't sing a full song, just some small part in the end. I think his throat was bad as he said the same thing in the SVOI show.

His mimicry was as usual excellent. His judgement again excellent. He says the right things without being harsh and that's the best part. And loved the way he told Anu Malik that the part which Anu liked was not in sur. Now I wonder how many times must Anu have said things like that and fooled the janta who have no knowledge about music.

I really wish Sonu was back as a judge on the show. Thanks to Sonu we found wonderful singers like Amey, Karunya and Abhijeet.

And lastly for all the Sonu fans, I've heard he's sung a qawali number for A.R Rehman in Jodha Akbar and the song is really good. I'm really looking forward to it and seeing Sonu once again rock the music charts.

Well I think Anu and Javed ji are both huge fans of him so they were definitely excited to have him around. Anu even made the impromptu tune for which Javed ji wrote the lyrics. But Udit ji was definitely a little disturbed and it was pretty evident when he gave Emon average comments and Anu pointed "udit is different today". As for Alisha, I really don't know and neither do I care; she is there only because they wanted a female judge and couldn't get anyone nicer..😆
