SwaRon os: The Treasure

The clock struck 12.. 14th Feb was finally here

Sharon was sitting in her study table sketching and painting. Just then she saw a paper aero plane coming inside her room from the window. Knowing who had sent it, she could not resist reading the message written on it.

Sharon so busy admiring Swayam and his cute ideas that she did not notice her room was now full of paper aero planes. In each plane same thing was written, "Happy Valentines Day", With a cute smily and heart. But among those, Sharon's eyes fell on a plane which was a bit bigger and was in red color. She went towards it and saw a huge I LOVE YOU written on it. Sharon was mesmerized by Swayam's thought and creativity. How could someone be so perfect?, she was wondering. Suddenly *Bang* she heard a sound. She saw a box and a note lying near her other window. She went and picked it up. The note was from Swayam, she knew from his handwriting. "Tomorrow at 8 am, outside your home. And the box is for u." Then Sharon opened the box. There she saw a simple white tee and a pair of black shorts and another note reading " you look beautiful in white." She knew Swayam was unpredictable and she also knew that this valentines day was going to be beautiful for her. Slowly sleep took over both Swayam and Sharon and waiting for tomorrow both of them fell asleep.

*honk* *honk* Sharon heard the car's horn. Guessing it must be Swayam she went down but to her utter shock, Sharon saw Swayam's driver there. *Buzz* her phone buzzed. "Get in the car, and don't bombard the driver with questions. Because he is not going to answer anything. :-)" Sharon smiled and got into the car. She sat silent as she was instructed. She was lost in deep thoughts. She remembered how she used to be before she met Swayam. Her rude attitude, her impulsive nature. She remembered how after her fathers death she had built a shell around herself. Her dad was the only person she used to love. Of course her mother was there but she never understood Sharon and all she could do with Sharon was fight. Sharon knew her mother loved her but she never let Sharon feel that love. Sharon missed her dad very much. Her dad had inspired her to dance. He was the only one who saw that talent in her and had done everything he could do to make her perfect. Her father was with her just for 10 years but those 10 years were the best years of her life. Her dad's last word still rang in her ears, "Shar, I'll be watching you from up. Follow your dreams and make me proud... Meri ek baat manogi? Please never ever stop dancing. Woh tumari life hai. And don't get affected by your mom. Woh tumse Bohot Pyarr karti hain, only she cannot express it. Stay happy Shar... Bye..."

Sharon eyes welled up as she remembered those last lines. *Buzz* she heard an another buzz. It was a text from Swayam." Look outside.. Fast." She looked outside and saw a bunch of balloons holding a chart paper flying in the sky. "Happy valentines day Siren" was written on that paper. Sharon smiled bright. After her father Swayam was the only one who Sharon loved deeply and truly. Swayam was the only person who had broke that shell of Sharon. The Sharon Rai Prakash who was more complicated than an algebraic equation for the whole world was like an open book for Swayam. But at first even Swayam had to face a lot of cold shoulder and rude words from Sharon. But unlike others, he never gave up. The more Sharon would become harsh, the more loved he used to make her feel. She smiled as she remembered the moments she had spent with him after their confession. Their hugs, pecks, promises, kisses and most importantly dance. Her father was so right. Dance indeed was her life. Dance gave her everything, passion, fame, respect, friends and most importantly Swayam.

Her thoughts were disturbed by the sudden halting of the car. Just then she heard a soft knock on her side of the window. She looked out and saw a sweet little girl carrying a note and rose. Sharon opened the window and took the note and the rose. There was a map and behind it a small message was written, reading "I am waiting" Sharon got out of the car and started following the map. The place was kind of a jungle resort. She finally reached the end of the map but there was nothing over there, just few trees and bushes. Suddenly everything went black. She knew she had been blind folded. "Swayam??" She called, but there was no reply. Then suddenly she was scooped in a pair of strong arms. She knew it was Swayam. "Happy valentines day my love" Swayam said. "To you too" Sharon replied. Swayam carried her till their destination with her eyes blindfolded. They reached the place. Swayam slowly made Sharon stand on her feet and opened her blindfold. Sharon was mesmerized with the place. It was a kind of playground with swings, rock climbing, high slides, monkey climb and many playing things as such. And there was a lake nearby near where a white tent was set. The lake had a bridge which led to the other side. The place was decorated with many red balloons hanging from the trees. "This is beautiful.. Swayam" Sharon said. "Thank god you liked it" Swayam replied, happiness clearly heard in his voice. Saying this Swayam slowly moved towards Sharon. "Swa..swa..Swayam.. Yeh kya kar rahe ho? Someone will see." "Yaha mere aur tumahre siva aur koi nahi hai, aur nahi koi aayega" he replied huskily. Sharon gulped. By now Swayam had grabbed Sharon by her waist. He was about to move forward when Sharon shouted. "Swayam Shekhawat!!!" Swayam jerked away from her, scared. "Sha..sha..Sharon.." He asked "kya hua?" He asked softly. To this Sharon just burst out laughing. Swayam was confused for sometime, but later he realized that it was just a prank of Sharon and joined Sharon in her laughing session. "Swayam Chalo na swing khelte hain.." Sharon said and pulled Swayam with her towards the swing. Sharon went and sat on the swing whereas Swayam pushed her high and high.

They both spent their whole day playing, talking, kissing, and taking in the presence of each other. It was already afternoon. "Shar, let's play treasure hunt na.. Please." Swayam asked Sharon. "Umm.. Ok but kaise? I mean treasure kaha hai?" Treasure ka toh pata nahi, but map jarur mere paas hai." Swayam replied, handing Sharon a small paper in which a map was drawn. "Yeh treasure sirf tum dhundogi, I'll just be following you." Swayam said. "Aye Aye captain.." Sharon looked towards the map and replied. She followed the map. It led to the other side of the bridge. She slowly went according to the map holding Swayam's hand. They reached the other part. It was like a forest. Sharon followed the map's instruction and holding Swayam's hand she got out of the forest and reached the main road. The map led to the opposite side of the road. Both Sharon and Swayam crossed the road together and reached the other side. Sharon followed the map and saw that it led to a graveyard. "Swayam this leads to the graveyard." Sharon said nervously. "You trust me na?" Swayam asked her. "More than I trust myself" she replied. Swayam wrapped his arms protectively around Sharon and they both went inside the graveyard. Sharon walked few steps and realized that she had reached her destination. Sharon looked around for sometime and finally found her treasure.

Her dad's grave. She had never seen it. She knew he was buried but she never got a chance to see his grave because no one ever bothered her to show it. And today, Swayam brought her there, she felt lucky for having such a caring person in her life. She felt blessed and she knew that the blessing was from her father who was looking at her from up. Sharon's eyes welled up. Swayam who was observing Sharon from distance now went and hugged her tightly, promising to always protect her and keep her happy. Then slowly Swayam broke the hug and looked at Sharon, his eyes reflecting pure love and passion for her. Swayam suddenly and slowly kneeled down and took out a blue velvet box from his pocket. "Sharon, jab meine tumhe pehli baar dekha tha, I had never expected that we would ever be together. Tumhara woh attitude aur mera woh Pyarr, Kabhi nahi Laga tha ki yeh dono saath ayenge. But as they say, time can change anything and everything. Shar, hum dono ne ek saath Bohot kuch face kiya hain. Happiness, pain, sorrow, love, relationship, live in and what not. We have travelled a long journey together and I really want this journey to last till eternity. You always said na that your dad wanted to see u happy? Then sir (looking towards Mr. Rai Prakash's grave) ab apke Sharon ko happy rakhne ka responsibility mera. (Looking into Sharon's eyes) Will you share the rest of your life with me Sharon? Will you help me to continue our journey till eternity? Miss Sharon Rai Prakash, Will You Marry me?" Swayam finished. Sharon stood there, reaction less. How could he? How could he be so thoughtful? He proposed her, that too in front of her dad. She was happy and also knew that, her dad who was watching her too was happy. She believed that her father knew no one could make Sharon more happy than Swayam. "Ye..es Swayam Yes.. I am ready to share my life with you. Yes Mr. Swayam Shekhawat I agree to marry you and help you to continue our journey till eternity." Sharon smiled and replied. Tears threatening to fall from her orbs anytime. Swayam slid the ring into her finger. He slowly got up and hugged her tightly. That moment Sharon felt her life being completed. Two most important persons of her life were with her now forever. Her father was in her soul and Swayam in her heart. She knew that nothing could go wrong now.

"So finally tumne mujhe propose kar hi liya huh.." Sharon said, holding Swayam's hand and sitting near the lake. They were back from the grave now and were sitting near their tent. "Hmm.. Did u like the treasure?" Swayam asked her. "I love it" She replied and pecked his cheeks. Swayam looked at Sharon intently.

He still remembered Rey's expression when he had said him that he loved Sharon.

Flashback

"I love her Rey." "What?!? Bhai, tujh jaise smart, intelligent, handsome and charming insaan, jiske piche pure college ke ladkiya fida hai, ushe Pyarr hua bhi kisse, Sharon Rai Prakash "The Diva"se? Woh sayed iss college ke only ladki hai jisko Tera cehra dekhna tak pasand nahi hai. And tu kehta hai that you love her? Dude, Teri tabyat toh thik hai na?" "Woh mujhe pasand nahi karti toh kya hua? I'll make her fall in love with me. Tu bas dekhte jaa Rey."

Though when he had seen her for the first time he never thought that Sharon would be his. But after his first fight with Sharon, he knew she was not what she showed to others. That rude, insensible and impulsive girl was just a veil, which covered the sweet, innocent and beautiful girl inside her. Slowly and gradually their fights started to cease and friendship started to bloom. The best enemies in the college became best friends. They used to share everything, fight, laugh and dance with each other. Sharon had become more open with Swayam. She shared with him the reason why she had hid her original self from the world. How she loved her dad and how he left her. Everything including her relationship with her mom. Swayam supported Sharon and as he had said to Rey, he made her fall for him, he proved that love really could do wonders. Swayam promised himself that, no matter what. He would never ever leave Sharon. She was, is and always be his treasure, his Siren.

"Itna chup kyun ho?" Sharon asked, suddenly bringing Swayam out of his thoughts. "Bass aise hi. All I want now is you in my arms and silence, Shar. I just want to feel your presence. Hearing this Sharon fell into Swayam's arms, happy tears flowing from her eyes. She slowly cupped Swayam's face and took Swayam in a long, soft yet passionate kiss. The setting sun and the shimmering water being the witness of this beautiful moment where two hearts were beating in a single beat and the two souls were sealed by their love and promise to never leave each other. The moment where both of them found their treasure in each other's presence.
