So the renowned famous saying "lending a helping hand" was showcased in a rather unique form today. Because it wasn't a helping hand... he lent a helping voice. Was it all thought over, planned and finally executed? You bet it was! Our manik today, constantly was in war with his mind and heart. Where the mind said leave her alone, the heart weeped go check on her. Where the mind claimed don't look at her, the heart cried go wipe her tears. The mind screamed she cheated you, the heart sobbed but she's sorry. The mind yelled she didn't trust you, the heart pleaded just trust her once. Where the mind raged she hurt you, the heart whispered you're hurting her. False are the statements that testify that manik is a monster... false are those claims that write that he's back to being his old self of the fiery, ruthless, heartless monster. He's not a monster. He's a lover. A pained lover. A hurt lover. A lost lover. A novice lover. But a true lover. Whilst the mind won the first round over the heart and the earing was misplaced even after it was found, the heart seemed to have clean-bowled the mind as he spoke his sarcastic speeches over her expulsion letter on that microphone. How can we forget? Manik Malhotra "always has it covered". From the very first episode to the very recent that we watched some minutes ago... one thing that has remained as constant as Newton's laws... be it his bestest of friends or the worst of enemies, he always had everything covered. Be it Shahid's suicide stunt or sacrificing his love for Dhruv... he has never failed anyone. Then how could he fail his love today? She cried because it tore her from inside... the shrewedness in his smile and his pitiless commentary shattered the remaining vase of hope that held her flowers of love inside her. She turned away because no longer could she recognize the cold-hearted yet lava filled stranger that Stood so shamelessly in front of her. She didn't recognize him. Neither could he recognize himself. She had taken him along with her. The old manik that ruled her heart. This manik was failing to recognise the voice of true love echoing within his own heart. But in the end, the echo somewhat overpowered the vicious tone of the mind. He lent his heart's voice so he could help her stay. He spoke it out aloud in front of the whole college in the most hate-filled tone so that his hatred becomes her biggest pillar of strength in this path of standing up for herself. He publicized her expulsion so that there will be at least one hand who would come forward and stop her from taking away the reason of his own existence. He knew he was helpless... he knew a helping hand would do her more harm than good. So instead he lent a voice so he would at least be able to breathe the satisfaction of her being safe and in front of his eyes. It was a voice, a call, a warning after which if no one stepped forward to help her, they would be the cause of their own doom. His use of words may have been from the mind... but the intention poured from the heart... he just lent her his helping voice So no longer will he have to bear the pain of seeing tears in her eyes. So no longer will he have to bear the pain of living in a world where she didn't exist. He just lent his voice so he didn't have to see her go.
